Got it for 699 from JB with price match, works well, not so good with bumps, you will feel it, unless you bend your knees a bit to avoid the shock. Better than f30 comparing the range. I say this is great price

      • do you notice much through your wrists on the bumps?

        • Noticed on my knees.

      • Isn’t bending your knees and absorbing the bumps normal rider behaviour just like on a bike.
It is madness to let a bike just crash over bumps.

        • But on bike you knees are already bent unlike scooter where you stand

I find raising your calves a better experience than bending knees.

        • Will try, Thx for tip

So I got one recently and will give my feedback. I really liked it, however there were a few cons:

-Going up an incline, it was slow as shit. Mind you, with my backpack I was probably around 96kg total, nonetheless it was sloooow. The max weight for this scooter is I think 120kg IIRC.
-The motor is at the front, so a few times when I was going at speed and went onto a curb, I could feel the front wheel spin out.
-The stated range will always be less (even with other scooters in the segway line up). No biggie for me, but figured I'd point it out.

After a few months, I decided to buy the Max G30L. The cons I had with the F40a (noted above), all disappeared with the max G30L (a part from the range). If anyone is on the fence between the F40a and Max G30L, I'd recommend the G30L, however I will note that it is shorter in terms of length and width compared to the Max G30 and F40a. If you like 6ft and above, this could be an issue - so it's best to check it out in person.

Also, if anyone searches previous posts and on reddit, you'll find similar feedback when comparing the F40 and Max G30L

  • Anyone have thoughts or experience in this versus the Xiaomi Scooter 3? These are the two in considering, would appreciate any advice

    • From my research: Segway F40 has more weatherproofing and better tires. Range is 40 km vs 30 km. Depends on what your needs and requirements are.

Xiaomi Pro 4 is a good contender.

  • Can be stacked with (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/715083) for another 10% off

  • Apparently the $799 price ends on the 27th so maybe on the 28th it’ll be back up to $1199

I have just ordered one, considering stacking HOME gift card 10% off, paid $648. Now I am waiting the order to be processed for pickup.

    • Great deal if you can stack!

  • Bought it in 799, Used it now, and can't return :( :(

  • Can this be stacked in store with $20 off $250 spend and $10 perks voucher?

  • Price back up to $1199
