This would, probably, only be suitable if you were a “breatharian”.
I buy small ceramic bowls, from OP shops, for my kitties. They are easy to stack in the dishwasher.
And they're cheap? Every op shop around these parts price jack harder than an eBay sale.
You do need to be a bit more careful, now. I, generally, pay about $1 a small bowl. We did get a bonanza, at one point, where one OP shop had a stack of small bowls from a catering mob that were $1 each. Great quality, good size and a stack of them. We bought heaps of them so the cats get a fresh bowl, with each meal, and we stack the dishwasher to wash.
The secret, generally, is to look for the “rats and mice” mismatched ones. However, I see it as a donation to charity, anyway.
I got these for my recently adopted kitten, it's perfect for food, but useless for water as they're quite shallow.
