Vita Brits 1kg are half price again. I believe the last time was back in March.
This did not appear in this week's Coles catalogue.
Very good value and a healthy cereal with no added sugar (sugar content 0.4g per 100g).

Vita Brits have no added sugar.
I second vita brits being far superior to Weetbix. the taste is much better to my me :)
Already picked up a box prior to seeing this post
Third this, the taste is much better to my me also :)

And they don’t turn into instant-porridge-esque slop within 5 minutes of being in milk.
I might buy a couple of boxes.
Weetbix taste better but Vita-Brits hold their form much longer in milk.
For the "no added sugar" people, Weetbix have 1g per serving. You would have to eat ten biscuits before you get about a teaspoon worth of sugar.
If you're really counting your sugar intake by fractions of a teaspoon, you wouldn't be eating cereal in the first place.
(These have added salt, by the way.)
Time to try Vita Brits overnight cheesecake variant of https://simplyfreshfoodie.com/overnight-weetabix/
Is it just me or is everyone sick of the state of online recipes these days? I just want an ingredients list and a method. These days you get the history of all of the food items, 16 frequently asked questions, a play by play account of the adoption of the authors cat Sox, a playful bio of the author then FINALLY the recipe. I feel like i'm scrolling for pages and pages
If you were worried about sugar you would be eating a relatively non processed cereal like wheat biscuits but preferably rolled oats.
You wouldn’t eat processed high sugar breakfast cereals like cocoa pops and corn flakes.
Also who eats just a “serving” of two biscuits?
You can guarantee that anything Kellogg’s is loaded with sugar and salt. They’re an American company so it checks out.
I grew up eating Kellogg’s cereals but switched to muesli in my uni days and haven’t looked back. But I occasionally (like once or twice a year) buy a Froot Loops or Coca Pops because I love them.
Welp, time to stock up on another six months' worth. Also, as for taste, I like to mix one flavoured biscuit (e.g. Weet-Bix Hi-Bran) in with four Vita Brits, and then topped with one sliced banana.
Living on the edge bro
I'm not British so Brit-edge is the best I can do.
…I'll let myself out.
Sanitarium Weet-Bix is much better IMO.
