  • My Pegasus just arrived. Not sure I'm a fan. Heel seems thinner than I'm used to..

    • What shoes/model/version do you normally use? Are you more of a heel striker?

      • Heel striker yes. Any recommendations? :)

        • Hmmm, to be honest I would have thought that with the new air bag they added to the P39s that this would be good for you. What shoes do you normally use which have the support you need in the heel?

          • @danielh: I normally wear under armour sonics. And yeah it's weird because I've heard the Pegasus are good for heel strikers too.

            • @Shane034: I guess maybe give it another week and see. I’ve changed how I run due to a recent Achilles injury and I’m now more of a mid sole striker (shuffler really lol).
Is it because the back part sticks out too much for you?

              • @danielh: I think so yes. For everyday use I wear shoes out first in the heel. And they just feel long and thin. But yeah I'll give em a bit longer. I think iconic has a good return policy anyway :)

  • nice cashback applicable

    • Better to use $20 off code such as HEYICONIC20, or sign up to their newsletter

  • On side note, anyone can recommend a good runnings socks? Are they a thing? Would be good if local stock as I'm using it for City2Surf this Aug.

    • I like the spark lightweight Nike socks. Super slippery so make sure you have good fitting shoes.

    • Feetures and lightfeet socks have always been good, I just wear thin ankle socks if just walking around though, depends on the shoe how fitted they are.

    • Look for socks that are reinforced in the ball of the foot and heel areas as this is where you get th most amount of wear and friction points when running. Anything that has these will be a much better than run of the mill socks.

Hilly socks - get them from Wiggle - are my favourite. They last ages and are well supported in the heel and ball of the foot areas. There are tons of other brands that will do a decent job though - I just stock up on Hilly stuff when Ido a wile order

    • Just not cotton anyway I've gone for saucony socks, pretty good.

They took a while and then after a few days ended refunding me for my order. Iconic is pretty bad.

Have had a similarly bad experience to yours. Had my order on July 20th sitting at "Processing" for nearly 2 weeks now, queried last week what's going on as delivery was due Monday 25th and it hasn't been shipped still, emailed 3 times to just get a generic "if it doesn't arrive by Friday 29th email us again" response, now emailed another 3 times and still awaiting a response. Not a great first time ordering experience.

Just want a refund now. Seems many others have had a similar experience lately so will avoid this mob in future.

      • Yeah bad inventory management is the least of their problem.

  • Oh shiii… $88 newest pegasus……my 38 zoom air just collapsed yesterday and now i don't want to get any pegs for the full price…
