      I moved away from IG years ago when there was an inactivity fee for buy and hold trading

  after that minimum of
  $5 commission or 0.05% if you’ve placed three or more trades in the preceding month
  $8 commission or 0.1% if you’ve placed fewer than three trades in the preceding month

  It’s actually $2.50 or 0.05% commission (which ever is higher).
  Runs only until August 31st then reverts to standard pricing.
  Standard pricing:
  For active traders, pay just $5 commission, or 0.05%, on all Australian shares if you've traded shares three or more times in the previous month. Otherwise pay just $8 commission, or 0.1%, on Australian shares.

  Had them with anz collecting dust for the next 10 years and anz has advised they are now charging annual fees

  Plus there's the $50 quarterly fee if you don't trade at least 3 times.

  Oddly they don't even mention this on their fees page that I can find.
