It’s amazing - transformed the way I cook. Love it.
Apart from the cooktop, would it be a good replacement for a conventional oven?
Absolutely. Has totally replaced mine.
Awesome deal, glad I didn't buy it an air fryer on prime day now
Didn't even know Anova made an oven! Pulled the trigger as the missus loves the sous vide stick and has had her eye on the Panasonic microwave steam oven for a while, thanks OP!
Pretty sure I got charged a $20 "NAB INTNL TRAN FEE - (SC)" by my credit card on the last deal. I haven't checked it with Visa/NAB yet.
I paid mine with PayPal and there's no additional charge.
Yeah some people in the previous deal said they got charged the international fee- https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/704787
ooh nice. I've been eyeing one of their pro models after my kick starter nise wave died and I haven't been able to get a replacement from them.
Very good device! I use mine all the time.
It can replace your air fryer, regular oven, sous vide stick and steamer.
I was sceptical of the sous vide mode at first, but it really works!
Just did some search on the Precision Oven. Some users claimed the oven cracked their countertop due to the heat. Does yours have any issue?
Anything very hot on your cold stone countertop has the potential to crack it, especially something like a crockpot or oven.
No issue, my counters are stainless steel.
Basically, there are certain surfaces which do not like prolonged heat. Best to identify your surface type and do some specific research
Looking at the reviews on YouTube, it appears that everyone still finishes off their protein in the pan rather than using it convection oven mode. Is this because the oven doesn't get hot enough to sear the meat ?
It does get hot enough to brown.
BUT, typically you want short high heat, that's why searing in a cast iron works better in my opinion.
OOS
Purchased one during Father’s Day. Absolutely love it!
It’s soooo good!
I was super keen on these but have been told there are so many bad reviews on this and people returning them left right and centre. (I think there was a fb group of unhappy buyers)
Might still be in stock for some as I was able to get one just before from the subscription email they sent out today
Back in stock!
I've placed my order on the 16th and the oven arrived yesterday. Don't have time to unbox it yet. I've also purchased a set of Anti Vibration Feet Pad on Ebay as suggested from Reddit.
I got something similar too as well as a silicon mat
Didn't like how high the oven was on that one on Reddit:

I'll get one of these one day. For now, I'm very happy cooking my steaks on a Weber gasser. Used to cast iron or bust.
Seems pretty cool, I'm going to check out comments on previous deal
