It's hit and miss, much better to go with a real copy if you can get it.
as the other have said, it's hit and miss. I tend to just not buy it, if they wont take the coupon, which in itself, usually means they will :)

in this day and age they should accept printouts as some people don't even get vouchers delivered. I've got a kfc down the road and they've been slack with the vouchers lately

Youre right. Apparently the company "Competitive Foods Australia" (owned by Jack Cowin) owns about 50 of the KFC franchises in WA (which I suspect is most if not all of them in WA). Now you know who to blame :)
Do you know how hard it is taking chicken across the outback and having it arrive still fresh?
I'm sure they have local sellers. My uncle used to sell chickens to the WA branch of KFC.
Not sure if that is still the case as he retired years ago…

Some shops allow you to show you the deal on your mobile phone. I used this the other day, they didn't mind, they just asked me to zoom in a bit more so they could read the deal better.
I personally have had better luck using the old "I got this voucher in my email" and showing on the phone screen than taking in A4 copy paper printouts. That just screams not-legit.
They sometimes have those vouchers sitting on the counter in the store.
Or you can ask them they have stock behind the counter as well…
