yes. i prefer V neck for work as i can wear under work shirt and its not visible.

    • +4

V Neck shirts are great to wear under business shirts as they are pretty much hidden.

      • +7

The real question should be does anyone wear business shirts still? I have some 20 shirts that are just collecting dust for the past 2.5 years

        • +1

Nope, filled a bag recently, some never worn once and gave to charity. Won't be needing those again.

      • +2

why do you wear another shirt under business shirts?

        • +24

To help hide pepperoni sized nipples.

        • +3

          Reduce sweat staining.

          And what nfr said.

          • @awaiko: and in winter, well to protect from winter.

          • @awaiko: wouldn't it make you sweat more?

    • +2

$2 extra for the extra fabric to fill the v neck gap.

Medical staff have v neck shirt under their scrub

White vneck, grey slacks standard attire for aliens/lizardpeople trying to pass as human.

    • Does anyone actually wear white shirts?

      • +1

        School children

    • I'm a crew neck person nowadays.

Havent worn a V neck since the early 2000s in my teens and clubbing days

    • +3

dude, do you have any idea how jacked I look with a sweet-ass V neck on? JACK3D.

You trying to stop a bullet?

    • He will replace Keanu Reaves in Matrix.

    • +1

You'd have to fold them in half 3 or 4 times

    • +2

It's well known that you need at least 120 shirts to stop a bullet. https://youtu.be/F8xIr28fns0

    ozbargain meetup uniform sorted

  • XX-Large excluded :(

Save on bucket M&Ms yesterday. Pay the price today.

  • They are ok, the anko Kmart ones have better material quality, Uniqlo ones have better fit.

    • I have an anko one. It feels softer, but for a v neck it's too tight for my liking.

  • +22

Unreal how lame prime day is compared to other countries, like seriously

    • +2

Must be coz their market research shows Aussies buy full price mostly lol

  • +2

Crew neck is also available for $20

  • +7

    How transparent are these?

Is it too much to ask to get a nice white shirt with no transparency so I’m not full beaming everyone with my dark pepperoni sized nips?

    • +3

Pepperoni is pretty popular so doesn't sound like a deal breaker. 🤣 Thanks for the chuckle.

    • +4

could you please provide some pictures of your nipples?

Its for ummm. for me to make a proper evaluation if these shirts will cause a problem.

  • Annoying the deal is not for fat guys- XXL is not on special 🤬

    • +4
    • -3

Don't even have to be fat, muscle-bound mate of mine says even though he'll look fine in smaller shirts, they always ride up his back when he's driving on the rough. A Looser shirt will drop back down with a simple lean.

  • +3

The reviews seem a bit controversial

    • +1

Most of thr complaints seem to be about material being thin. Which is missing thr point about these being undershirts, which are meant to be thin

      • They aren't undershirts. People are just using them that way.

    • It sounds like getting the right size is going to be a real gamble. anyone know how the fit compares to veeam tshirts?

  • +8
    • No.

V for victory, especially if you're wanting to use as a winter undershirt…

  • +2

Not sure if these are any different, but the stitching quality on the last Gildan set I bought from Amazon (made in Honduras) is absolutely woeful. Fabric is pretty reasonable though.

  • +1

Horrific quality last time I purchased

    • Can you please elaborate

      • Itchy plastic. Honestly can't believe material exists in shirt form.
        Absolute trash

  • Good price until you pick 2xl. $51 for just two.

  • Only medium or XL size for that price.

  • I've had a few of these that I wear as regular shirts (coloured ones). Agree that the stitching can be crap, but the material is good for the price.

Not all mine have had stitching issues, just the occasional one.

These haven't got the deep v like a real undershirt. (Uniqlo)

  • I grabbed the black ones about 12 months back and have been wearing every day to work (WFH). They've not brilliant quality but certainly have done the job.

  • terrible reviews.

  • Gildan has really brought down their quality control and fabric quality these last 5+ years. They used to have some rock solid shirts, but something has happened within their production as they've been going downhill for awhile now. I prefer those $5 basics from Kmart and Big W if I'm looking for simple tshirts. They tend to last forever. Either those, or Hanes for better quality.

  • +1

Usually between $2.5-$4.5 at Kmart etc

    • These are only $3.14, and I don't have to try my luck with the great unwashed of K-Mart to get them.

      Et cetera…

    • A shirt for the whole familia
