  • Wish it would switch on in xx hours instead of switch off~

    • just buy a timer from bunnings… they cost around $10…

    • -2

Then it would not be zero power draw!

What powers the green led and the actual timer? Bunnings 2 for $10 for analogue ones.

      • +3

mechanical timers would be virtually zero power draw….

I had a really bad experience with alwaysonsale. Can't remember exactly what happened since it was a long time ago but they are on my short blacklist.

My advice is to avoid dealing with them.

Hmm … are you referring to this? :S

Free maglite torches - only pay shipping, shipping capped at $10 and you could order 5, with a shipping charge of $6 for the first one.
Except people ended up getting one only, being charged $6 and then being refunded after that (so, $6 for one was not such a good deal)

      • thanks for reminding me…

I'm still pissed off about that and have added them back to my short blacklist !!!

  • Belkin wants way to much for this thing. I have a 7W desk lamp. At $11.11 it would take this thing nearly 7000 hours (assuming I ALWAYS forget to turn it off) to pay for itself.

If you use it on a 1000W heater though, it would only take 48 hours of being switched off when it would otherwise be switched on. (At a minimum, because a 1000W heater is not always using 1000W, and you don't ALWAYS forget to turn it off).

So at this price, I would say it MIGHT pay for itself. But at $30? Belkin is out of their minds.

    • I use these for one of my power boards and also for a phone/laptop charger.
Works nicely, set it for 3 hours and I don't have to worry about it drawing constantly (more for the laptop and powerboard)

dont think you need to signup to use the $10 OFF code = SAVE10

      @ davidl This info = a :)

And I cant help but also laugh at the admin fee of .56c.

Wonder which nitpicking accountant decided that was a great way to market a product. Got to wonder how these people stay in business with details like that.

If it was a more sensible .57 then the deal would be 11.12, and I guess thats not a number that appeals to the accountants Vs the more attractive 11.11 :)

Maybe a logon fee might be in order as well…? Hey maybe make it less obvious .28 admin fee with .28c logon fee, or maybe include a time on system fee???

      Off topic comments welcome :)

  • They've upped the shipping to $12.95 now :(

    • $12.95 for shipping is pretty hefty. More like a $5 voucher now.

  • Anyone order and receive theirs?, Ordered 10 days ago and it's sitting "On order" status, ie not shipped. Being an Australian plug and ordering only one item, I assume they will be shipping domestically and relatively quick. So far their shipping service doesn't appear too good

    • received mine in the mail friday!
