  • I cant tell you how many times i have seen this tv on special. Does any one have any individual reviews of this TV?

    • I've had a 55EX710 for a while. Very happy with it.

As for the 3D stuff in the 720, you'd have to try it yourself in-store.

      • so would you say the 3D is good or bad? 3D is very iffy

        • I don't have 3D on my Sony, so couldn't say. I have a Samsung plasma with 3D and it gives me headaches.

3D works for some and not for others. The only way to know if it works for you is to try it yourself.

    • I have one, great TV - 2D looks superb. 3D is passable but seems to have a bit of cross-talk. Also 3D seems to give me headaches after a while. the Internet functions like Netflix and youtube work quite well.
Good viewing angles and performs quite well in a well lit room.
I rate it over the Samsung's but I may be biased

  • +1

Hertz is a measure of frequency (screen refresh), not just "Hertz" :)

    • Not sure about the '169' aspect ratio either :D

good price. anyone know if 200Hz vs 100hz worth the upgrade? in which situation we will see clear difference between two?

    • for 3D 200 is definitely better. Remember with active shutter glasses when you watch 3D the Hz is half due to every alternate frame is for the other eye.

  • i actually brought this tv at the chadstone branch for 1459 about two or three weeks back. I called their branch today again and they don't have this price in store nor will they price match their own prices for the 30 days price gurantee.
Is this right? or can i claim my $100 back?

    • You should be able to claim the different, I bought mine for $1450 and then i called them yesterday, they asked for the link and i gave them and then they honor me the different $91. btw I bought it from the good guys caringbah.

  • not a bad price. went looking for this tv on the weekend but couldn't find anyone with any in stock in SA so i ended getting the equivalent samsung (6000 series) for about the same price ($1600 w/ 4yr warranty). Actually Hardly Normal had them instock but wouldn't budge from the $1700 price tag (and that is without extended warranty!!!!).
