Seems like a good price. I don't know, I'm just looking for an ultrawide curved gaming monitor and overwhelmed at the selection so will probably watch these deals pass and live with regret.

$2350 so not really the same price bracket…
Big selling point for this is the USB-C port with 94W power delivery. The amazon reviews are saying that this PD is very dodgy though especially with MacBooks. Is anyone here using this with a MacBook?
Avoid at any cost if you want to use usbc single cable for charging+display+hub! My work provides this as part of working from home package and nearly half of those monitors would fail on its usbc within a month or two. Someone even had a DOA replacement when it was returned under warranty. 90%of us are all using MacBook Pro 16 2019.
Wow thanks for the reply. Hopefully other people see this before committing. I'm starting to think the 1 cable setup Valhalla is not worth the cash or the potential headaches
Yeah and not to mention that if you are going through normal LG warranty replacement, it has to be brought back to one of the authorised LG repairers to test and all those BS. We are luckily since it was purchased through a third party distributor so they come to our home, drop off the new monitor and pick the broken one up.
To be fair, when it works, great price considering how neat you desk can become. However, considering the uncertainties of longevity on its usbc port, I would go with something else. Feel like LG rushed this product and it’s half baked.
This vs Xiaomi 34" vs the Dell 34" (the one with the KVM switch)?
I too wonder which is better.
Was looking for the LG 35 until someone recommended the Dell S3423DWC.
Wonder which is the better option at at that $540 price point.
A big cheap curved screen from a leading supplier.
Points of concern are the relatively low resolution and refresh rate (compared to today's standards anyway), so I wouldn't class it as a "gaming monitor".
For productivity and general use it wouldn't be bad, and the USB-c is a convenient add on.
Not a whole lot of reviews available, and it's been out since 2020 apparently… but quite a bit of negative feedback on the manufacturer website, so that's a little bit of a worry too.
I'm always turned off by monitors that have speakers on them though. I don't know if that's a snobby thing, but I always thought that a monitor with speakers is aiming at a target audience that doesn't have decent audio separately… and that's definitely not power users/gamers.
I reckon bang for buck (screen real estate wise) it's not too bad for $540 delivered…. but no one is buying this for the claimed $800 retail price. Far better options available at that price price point, so the 'before price' isn't very accurate at all.

Not if you’re looking for usbc
100hz and 5ms response time with USB-C (not a gaming monitor) vs 160hz, Freesync Premium, and 1ms response time with no USB-C (a proper gaming monitor).
Absolutely massive performance difference, and you'd pick it just for USB-C? Yeah nah…. 9 times out of 10 people are definitely buying the better performing monitor for the same price mate.
Any other 34-35" ultrawide curved IPS monitors worth considering in the $500-800 bracket? Mostly for productivity but half-decent refresh rate for some animation work is a bonus. Thanks!
Gigabyte M34WQ, not curved tho
Saw this one but haven't heard much about PRISM+
https://www.amazon.com.au/PRISM-PG400U-Panel-144Hz-UWQHD/dp/…There's also the 34" version for a decent price:
https://www.amazon.com.au/PRISM-Curved-Ultrawide-Adaptive-Mo…Was thinking the same thing - how has anyone not made a post about this. I haven't heard about PRISM either but even for a generic monitor those prices are decent.
Anyone know how low the stand can go? I need the monitor to fit under 40cm with the stand. So far it seems only a Dell stand / monitor can do that. But not many articles or reviews talk about that, so its hard to find the specs on how low each monitor can go.
Get a monitor arm? Then you can adjust any monitor to any height.
Sadly my corner desk and the wall, makes monitor arms tricky and the desk doesnt have a good hold in the traditional part of where you attach it. It does have shelves and cabinets where i can maybe attach an arm and then angle it in. But with the wall as well, I am not sure.
I just bought the 40inch LG Ultrawide. Awesome image and is native 5K.
