  • Thanks OP other basketball valve just packed it in, so perfect timing.

Good purchase to take advantage of inflation

  • Anyone got on of these, or other suggestions (for outdoor ball)? Haven't played basketball in over 20 years…from memory used to have a Spaulding composite.

Molten was recommended to me by a mate when I was on the search for a quality outdoor ball. I've been happy so far but only a couple of months of use.

I'd recommend the Wilson NCAA Replica composite leather ball for the extra money, it is amazing outdoors.

I am almost certain the listing lies and this outdoor line is rubber not leather.

Rubber may not degrade on concrete courts, but it feels terrible and will split your fingers.

The Spalding rebound size 7 at rebel for $13 or so is actually great value.

I've spent a bit more on a Nike Hyper TrueGrip and it was trash.

I'd stay away from Molten for outdoor use, they're good inside balls.

Other than that, I'd go to rebel and try a few.

Edit - I am Div1 and play streetball every week, I also watch the professor, so can be trusted lol.

Mate, you are way too qualified…I'm just trying to maximise my championship window while my son is 1yo - I reckon I've got 3 or 4 years left to beat him 1-on-1, so gotta get those wins while I can! :)

      • I like my Nike True Grip. Use it few times a week, on both indoor and outdoor, and still going strong. I do also like using the Spalding red/white/blue ones, but it’s a size 6 (my kids use that size for their league)

      • Rebounds cost $9.99 at Rebel. Source: employee.

  • Only Wilson Volleyballs for me

I still have mine signed by Michael Jordan. :D

  • Size 6 is $31ish

  • Hennessy, the official spirit of the NBA

  • Dispatch time is now 1-2 months. But I want to play tomorrow folds arms

    • Looks like out of stock locally.

With luck you'll find some pick up games if you spot an ozbargainer tomorrow with a new Wilson ball that just got delivered.

Heads up, anyone buying this for little kids, these are size 7s, which are full sized. Probably better to buy size 5s or 6s for kids, unless you are buying for teenagers.

  • I can throw half court shots from in backwards without looking diagonally and from the sideline. One handed. And from straight half court. No sacarasm I actually can

  • His brother the Vollyball starred in both TopGun and Castaway.

  • Deal is gone

  • +1

    Its actually a size 6…

    • No the initial deal was for a size 7, as size 6 was more expensive
