I dont think banks are allowed to anymore… From memory i thought there was a law passed to prevent credit providers from offering you incentives to keep your card. Happy to be corrected.

Any reason why you want CBA to retain your CC number? I always switch around to get bonus points so I'm genuinely asking.
I'm on the Ultimate Rewards card and it currently stacks up as a good all rounder CC for me as I do a fair bit of international spend (it offers bonus points on international spend). Thinking of moving cards but would stay if they offered some bonus points, so just checking if anyones had any luck with this
