Original price is $48.0. Harvey Norman online price is $27.0 before cash back. After Cash back is $12.01. The price on the shore ticket is still $48.0. I went to shop straight away and could not get the deal. Have to order online and pick up in the store.

30% of cash back is based on the RRP. Harvey Norman online already gives $21.0 discount on RRP. Then, take 30% of RRP as cash back off. Then get $12.01. So this deal is better than that Microsoft cash back deal only.
I disagree with the assessment that this is a dupe. This is a specific product that has been discounted, by a specific retailer and is combined with the 30% cashback.
I am all for people bringing attention to add-ons to existing deals.
it's not a dupe, cause its still a decent deal on its own without the cashback.
i already knew about the microsoft cashback deal, but if not for this post i wouldnt have realised this.
yeah i agree on that too but this exact post got deleted 2 days ago so it should be a dupe if the other one got removed.
Why don't you price match it at The Good Guys, it's $27 at Harvey Norman and $35 at The Good Guys so 120% of the difference is $9.60 so you buy the keyboard at $25.40. The casback is $14.99 so after cashback it's $10.01 pretty cheap thats 20% of the RRP
I bought the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 800 from Office Works In January for about $27, good keyboard and mouse for a HTPC. Using it now on the lounge.
Cheers big ears!
MSY $25 - $14.99 cashback = $10.01
I do not think MSY is one of the participating Australian retailers and not sure if it is eligible to get cash back.
*Participating Australian retailers include but are not limited to; Dick Smith, Bing Lee, Retravision, Myer, David Jones, Betta Electrical, The Good Guys, Officeworks, JB HiFi and Harvey Norman. Purchases made from auction websites, back-orders and products awaiting arrival/delivery are not eligible for this promotion.
"but are not limited to"
you got any evidence that msy participate in the cash back?
Yes, MSY is a participating retailer store (Confirmed), I found it thru twitter link. Here we go the links:

Purchase any eligible Microsoft hardware product from any participating Australian retailer* between 24.5.2012 and 5.7.2012.
Your 30% of the RRP cash-back will be deposited into your nominated bank account by 30th August 2012.
Nice find! Btw Office Works has the keyboard for the same price $27. Bought one on the 24th.
Just tried to purchase this from Harvey Norman … displays as on special for $27 (before cashabck offer) but at checkout it shows still as $48.
Thats what I found as well
Beware Microsoft hardware. I recently bought, and returned, 2 microsoft keyboard + mouse combos (albeit not this model). Extremely poor quality. Both the mouses flexed so much they were unusable and the range was about 150cm.
Just keep this in mind.
Ok, it looks like HN had jacked up the price to $48.
Office works shows it to me as $28 but when I add to cart and check out, it changes to $29.95
WTF?
$27 offer finished yesterday. the price now back to $48.
The HN I got mine from was selling them for $20 each on Saturday.
I've got back to wired keyboard and mouse.
Centrecom have them on sale now 1c less than HN.
I just got OW to price beat MSY in Perth. Got one for $23.75
much as I hate HN and cashbacks, I'm forced to vote "+" 'coz 'tis a good price
