Can't get passed Two Factor Authentication on Ubi Connect..

It's been a while since I have logged into Ubi Connect to play any games (Assassin's Creed, The Division etc) and when I tried today I was unable to get passed the two-factor authentication process.

I feel like I have set up the connection between my mobile device and Google Authenticator correctly but the 6 digit codes refuse to be accepted by Ubi Connect. I tried having the code delivered to me via SMS but no matter how many times I click on that option I fail to get the SMS come through on my device.

Ironically, when I try and disable 2FA from within on Ubi Account … I need 2FA to access it!

Any ideas?

    You should have got an email with the recovery codes when you enabled 2FA. Do you still have that email?

    The timing may be off on your authenticator.

    try reset the timing so that the codes showing are valid for the requested time period.

      Yes, it is the opposite of ironic.

  • Are you looking at the right 2FA account?

    Plenty of times I have tried to enter paypal 2FAs into Ubisoft ;)

    • Embarrassingly I didn't realise that Google Authenticator separated into different accounts. I thought you simply entered the 6-digit number currently showing in the app.

      I also tried resetting the timing but that didn't help.

      I tried contacting Ubi support but there was an error that stoppedit going through and 'chat' didn't work because of the time difference.

      Finally, I probably did receive some recovery codes via email when I first set up my Ubisoft account but that was so long ago that i'm not sure what I did with them.

      Nevermind, I'll stay up late tonight and connect via chat.
