Quick question - Are the HDMI cables certified under the "Ultra High Speed HDMI® Cable Certification Program", i.e have a genuine "Ultra High Speed HDMI Certification Label" affixed to their packaging?

I'll say that an uncertified cable can of course still meet these requirements, and isn't necessarily a bad cable. Some vendors simply choose not to go for the certification due to the additional costs associated. But choosing a certified cable does give peace of mind that the build quality guarantees consistent performance up to the standard for the lifetime of the cable when properly cared for.
