  • looks like only the "sexy" pink has the 50% discount… Anyone here used this? I see a review about it dropping with 32" monitor…

    • +1

I bought last time they had a special.
It is well made, solid and working great. (Wife's home office setup 2 x 27")

      • +1

What's the weight of your monitors?

    • appears to show 20% promo now…

  • Is 9kgs for each arm or bit arms? Cheers.

    • From the first paragraph:
Each monitor arm holds up to 19.8lbs

  • Thank you :) I’ve been after one of these for my 29” widescreens and this is cheaper than marketplace options!

I'll give it a shot! Won't be setting up until next month so will report back then if I remember

    • Set up earlier than expected - they seem very solid/secure and very easy to move around to access cables or change position. Had to increase tension of the tilt mechanism only, and since then they have had no problems holding up 2x Samsung G52A monitors which are specified as 4.4kg each. Definitely good value and I'm satisfied.

Will this support latest dell mointer? S2722dc

Some reviews highlighting the tilt mechanism not holding 7kg monitors

    • That's normal. My dual monitor capacity is 15 kg and it struggle on holding 7kg monitors as well.

      • +7

I would NOT recommend these at even ten bucks. I have the single-arm model, and it fails to hold my 24-inch Samsung monitor. I had to then resort to cable ties to strategically tie a knot through the holes and the arm to support the weight.

User error at your end, don’t provide bad reviews when you don’t know how to tension the arm.
It’s an Allen key screw in the arm anti-clockwise I think to tension the arm
Has to be user adjustable to suit monitor weight.

If it’s too tight a 2kg monitor will be full height all the time
Or too loose and the 9kg monitors will not be held up.
Adjust it til it’s in equilibrium with your monitor. The arms work great

@RideCurbs: These look to be Heymix re-badged mounts.
I have two of these, and I have bent an allen key trying to get the tension tight enough to hold a 6kg 27" screen.

I had to make an account after years of lurking just to throw in a comment for anyone considering these, they aren't great.
Spend the extra on a better quality mount.

              @iamnotborat: Great username!

              I must have got lucky

My 2x 27s (roughly 6-7kg ea) hold up great

Went too far anticlockwise initially and they wanted to float up, backed off the spring (clockwise) on the screw a tad and got them just right.

I assumed user error but maybe some aren’t with as good of a spring tension?

              • @RideCurbs: Entirely possible that there is variance within the manufacturing which explains the decent price, but I fear that's what makes these hit and miss in that case.
My preference has been the single pole with the arm off it for this reason, since those seem to be a little more sturdy, but I dont think they offer these types of mounts.

Take it from a guy who's done the "new setup" thing 5 times now. Get two single arms.

The duals rarely let you swing a side monitor around enough, almost always aren't actually compatible with anything over 24" for the same reason, and the list goes on.

    • This is the wisdom. So much more flexibility with seperate arms, including easily going down to using one screen if you “upgrade” to an ultra wide later.

  • Can you make the orange version the same price?
