    • +1

is this site legit? just had some red flags but i could be wrong.

    • note the actual eveready site (eveready.com)
    • socials have very few followers and engagement
    • the number on their contact us page is for some company called "8 star energy" and not actually eveready.

I could be wrong on this one, i'm just being cautious

I thought the same when I first saw their power stations. I bought a 150 from them and yeah it came from 8 star energy in Melbourne. But it's all legit and honestly the power station has been great.

Fair enough, thank you for being my tester :-P

i thought exactly the same that's why i didn't post deal until i received items and paid with PayPal but is 100% legit ( 8 star energy owns everyready and energizer)

      • Fair enough, thank you for being my tester :-P

      • Thanks. Changed my mind. 👍

    • Great. Red flags are there. I would avoid buying it just because of possible dodgy seller

  • Cheers OP :)

  • Probably a dumb question, but does it work for an electric car?

    • +1

It should work on hybrids because they have a separate battery. Not sure about fully electric. Probably not because what would you do after jump starting the electric car?
You need to charge it to drive it.

    • Yes it charges up the battery to full 3 times

  • thanks OP!

  • Awesome deal! Hard to believe they are able to turn a profit at this price

Postage would be $10, so that's $35 each. I wonder if the batteries have been in storage for a while, and they are clearing them out so they don't have to recharge them

  • Expired? Showing as $99 for one.

If you add two it discount to $99 for two

    • Yep looks like price has jacked up to $99

  • Received them today. looks pretty good for a $40 jump starter. Haven't got the chance to actually test it yet.

  • Mine arived today (SE melb)

Looks good! Nice unit. Thanks so much OP (and Perrino) for confirming the legitimacy of this one

  • Mine just arrived today, thankyou for confirming it to be legit.

But something weird has no happened, i went to the website again and it looks like the site has been shut down :-S
