We now have 2 perks yaaay.

    • Why 2? I think the other one expired yesterday.

      • +1

Perks is the actual program, so we have OzBargain Perks and now we have Super Saver Perks

    • That’s 2x exclusive deals for all of us ;) cheers

  • -1

For reference, this was taken from the ShopBack Community Page on Facebook

    • Yeah, lol. It's not even meant for here…

      • Exactly. It was meant for the Facebook community within the Super Savers group

        • +11

Since when did that ever stop deals from being posted on OzB?

          • @ATangk: There are plenty of reasons if you’re looking from a marketing stat perspective
But I won’t list them as I’ll get negged a lot

            • +1

@BargainsGrabber: Probably because they're puzzled why you care?

            • @BargainsGrabber: You're still taking negs too personally. Keep sharing information as it helps others.

              • +2

@KangaDrew: Sometimes I wonder as if it’s actually worth it and judging from your recent comments on my deals it actually doesn’t help you

Nothing personal but you and many others that I won’t name are one of the reasons I still want to quit from OzB

    • +4

Meh, I'd rather not use FB

      • +1

+1 to have deal available here, else you’d missed it completely ;)

  • +4

Don’t click go to deal, click OPs “where” link

    • +1

Couldn’t use the link in url somehow. So, ended up putting in description :)

Again, can I buy 0% cashback range from various stores and still be able to get the $3?

    • Yes need to know if eligible for 0% cashback ebay and Amazon items

      • Although GYB keeps confirming those, I personally don't see how it can work. There is a condition that clearly says:

The Bonus Cashback will be added to your account once your regular Cashback turns 'Confirmed' (the timeframe is dependent on the store you buy from).

In my experience a 0% CB item will never turn to Confirmed.

So, are we being fed sh|t or not? @gotyourback that is the question

        • +1

Hey mate, this was a change we made to Amazon purchases in March of this year to account for these bonuses and their 0% categories so folks don't miss out. $0 cashback purchases do take a bit longer to move out of "Calculating" status, but should be confirmed by the "available by" date. As always, if you do have any specific q's, or if you have any issues with your cashback or bonuses, shoot me a message and I'll get it sorted out.

          • @gotyourback: Just Amazon? Or does it include ebay too?

You don't want to deal with the backlog of CB issues I have trust me!

They relate to Bonus Cashback offers, just like this one, but haven't been paid since November (some of them)…

            • +6

@nismo: Sorry, eBay 0% categories work as well.

I am down for a challenge, mate, precisely what I'm here for is to take care of folks in the community. Send away, happy to spend the time going through whatever queries or issues you have.

              • -1

                @gotyourback:

happy to spend the time going through whatever queries or issues you have

Thanks, GYB. PM coming your way (stuck bonus cashback from last year).

  • So Amazon is ok?

    • Yes to both @Repstar and @Dark Zeus

  • Ebay okay (not a gift card)?

  • +1

Dont see it, where is this located inside the app? Or do i need to sign up to the FB community?

    • +1

Click on the where link on your mobile, it will open the app and there'll be an enroll button

    • +1

click on the link in the description

      • Thanks. Just realized that my ad blocker on android was the one blocking that link from working!

  • How do you find the Supersavers and Ozbargain perks next time?
I can't seem to find the link on the website or app

Signed up to OZB a couple of weeks ago but can't navigate back.
    Thanks

    • -1

click on "earn more" at the bottom of the app page, next to the Home button

    • +1

Once you’re in, you’re in. No need to navigate anywhere.

  • funny. I was already enrolled, but this deal only showed up when I clicked on the link above, I checked in "earn more" before I clicked the link….even said I was already enrolled, whereas my husband's account said "enroll" so he enrolled and got the deal too.

  • +2

think the opt-in cap is full

  • +2

Can’t see anything after signing up. Targeted? I logged out and the perks special was visible, then I signed in and: „Sorry something went wrong!“ appeared.

  • +1

enrolled don't see the $3 bonus.

    • all slots must have gone. Only for the first 1250 to opt in. It was down to around 100 when I did it 18 minutes ago

  • +1

I enrolled and can’t see the perk, maybe capped ?

  • Does it include category with 0.00% cashback?

    • Yes with Ebay & Amazon. No for the rest.

  • +1

I am the same, I think it is gone.

  • +2

doesn't look too user friendly very confused

  • What's the best way to make sure an eBay purchase is tracked, from a desktop PC?
    - Go to eBay, search for the item, copy the item's URL, then go to ShopBack, click eBay, then paste the item's URL. Or
    - Go to ShopBack, click eBay, then search for the item.

    • 2nd way works.

      • From my experience, sometimes they tracked, sometimes they didn't. Not sure what I could be doing wrong. I don't have any Adblocker running with ShopBack.

        • I think the way u copy the URL may break SB tracking system. I guess that’s reason.

          • @AdamJ9: Which is why I had been using the search function. Normally I'd find the item and seller, then using a new container (so it's clean no cookies) I'd log in to ShopBack and click through to eBay, search for the item and buy it. Unfortunately while most tracked, some didn't.
I noticed some of the search results have "Sponsored" written, I think because the seller paid to promote the item.

For example, if I search for the item number 402452599164 I get one search result and it has "Sponsored" written - screenshot.
I should note that I've clicked on a "Sponsored" search result and it tracked. I don't remember whether some untracked items were "Sponsored"; I know some were not "Sponsored" but still didn't track.

I wonder then if it'd be better to instead copy and paste the clean URL of the item: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/402452599164

I've used both methods, and so far copy and paste tracked, but I haven't used it enough to know. And like you said it may break the tracking system (changes in the tracking system, etc).

Of course, I don't think anyone should be expected to be aware of all this …

There was also a time when I bought the same item again, after a few weeks, and it tracked the first time I bought it but not the second time (using search to find the item). Is this another restriction …

    • +1

instead of copying the URL, get the item number and do a search for that, or put the item in your watched items list in your My Ebay account?

      • Is there a difference (in terms of ShopBack tracking) between searching for the item's number and item's name? Other than the latter showing more results.
As for Watched Items list, that seems an easy way for eBay to disqualify cashback.

        • I thought you meant once you found the item you wanted (exact…from the seller you want to buy it from, etc) then the item number is handy as it goes back to the exact item you found in your search in the first place, or, like I said, save it to your My Ebay list so it is there anytime you want to purchase (not cart)

          • @souths123: Yes, using the item number is an easy way to find the item again, thanks for the suggestion. I was just wondering if that's also preferable for tracking purposes.

            • @digitale: I don't think it makes a difference as long as you don't leave the website once you have clicked through. If you put in a new URL after that then that would take you out of the webpage you just clicked through to, so it wouldn't be counted for cashback

    Facebook exclusive offers?

Ozbargain Perks doesn't feel so special anymore :D

    • All perks comes under the OZB umbrella ;)

  • What exactly do we have to do after enrolling? Can't seem to see T&C anywhere

    • if you can't see anything about this offer, it is because the offer is full and no more spots available. For this deal anyway. There will be others

  • I have enrolled, so now we need to spend $30 to get $3? It says 23-25 June, does that mean we can spend $30 and get another $3 each day?

    • +1

Hey mate, it's just the one bonus per customer, not per transaction. Any one valid transaction over these dates will award you the bonus :)

      • Hi, Just wondering why my $3 bonus is not showing up in my cashback overview when I enrolled in the supersaver perks and made a purchase at big w that was over $30 on the 23rd June?

        • Hi there! So this bonus will be awarded and become viewable in your cashback overview when the cashback on your qualifying purchase is confirmed. When the cashback for your Big W purchase becomes redeemable, your bonus will be paid shortly after that :)
