Does anyone know what the conditions are to be targeted for these promos? I've tried not using CR for a few months (just used SB instead), using it infrequently for a few months, and using it as my main cashback service for a few months. I've never been targeted.
Its just random. I signed up for their marketing campaigns, last year i for 2 of these which i used, and then one to buy alcohol, which i didn't use, and then i just stopped getting them. Have been using shopback mostly this year.

All of these mid-October approval dates in my account are a bit much. I don't mind 90 days but i swear many are like 150.
The Cashrewards approval dates are definitely longer than ShopBack. Tracking on ShopBack also seems to work better for me.

So I get the fact that they use offers like this to entice new customers…but the problem they face is that communities like this one SEE every single offer they make available, and they have a bunch of (loyal) customers that continuously get disappointed by not being eligible.
The point of promotions is to generate goodwill…yet these offers have the opposite effect when you're constantly ineligible…what's my opinion of Cash Rewards? Pretty low, because they keep offering things o other people….
