The only real wearout-proof technology is FRAM.
Warranty is still only 5 years, the same as the old ones.
Can these Samsung sims be used in a phone please? S20 Fe 5G. Thx
Record in Full HD or 4K
This is basically meaningless and almost misleading - it depends on the bitrate you're recording in and the SD card write speed.
meaningless
Like the average person knows what bitrate means.
My point is that you might put this in a device that outputs @ 4K thinking it will work but then it still fails due to the write speed.
It's meaningless to say it can record in 4K because it may notName a device that uses MICRO SD card and needs more than this write speed.
Do you think this will manage 4k 10bit ok?
Has anyone ever heard of this seller "pocketsh60" before? Are we sure these aren't fake cards?
No, but searching their feedback for "endurance" yields plenty of happy customers over a reasonably long timeframe. I'm not buying, but I wouldn't be too worried.
All 17 feedback received for the listing here, all positive so seems legit. @videoman
I never had a SD card break because of the exceeded write volume or age. Even the cards that have been in a RaspberryPi server for 10 years now.
In my 24/7 security cameras the write load was so high that I had several cards wear out. What happens is that they go into preservation mode so that no more data can be written into them. The existing data remains.
I don't know why I keep buying them
for shooting your 4k prawns
Hard to tell imitation from the real
Samsung and even sandisk ones are cheaper at shoppingsquare

thanks OP, ordered one with 10 bucks off
Code still works but it's up to 48.95 now
Has anyone received this yet?
My order says sent via Sendle but there is no tracking link
I got mine a day or two ago (Newcastle, NSW).
Samsung has released new high endurance cards which are wearout-proof rated at 16 years (140,160 hours). See https://news.samsung.com/global/samsung-unveils-new-pro-endu…
Thanks OP. I used to look at the old Samsung and Sandisk endurance cards but these new Samsung ones aren't that expensive and are wearout-proof.
