You guys got any 2TB 970 EVOs on sale?

    • That’s what I am after too

    • +1 for this

      • They carry 2TB 970 EVO, but don't see it under promotion link.

I'm not paying $299 when I can see past deals for $255 with a free game thrown in

        • Yep, pretty ordinary price
Can be had for $272.22 with eBay Plus here

    You’ll have to do better
1TB Evo 970 Plus $151.20 or $147.42 with eBay Plus

    • Do you have to have eBay Plus to get that pricing because I don't see the code anywhere

      • SAFY20 for non-Plus
        PLUSFY22 for Plus members

  • is the EVO 970 suitable for a laptop? does it get too hot? I will double check to see that it physically fit but I was wondering about the temperature, seeing a lot of the larger capacity m.2s have heatsink and stuff ..

    • +1

I havent had any issues running games off it. The hottest it got was 60-ish C during intensive speed testing with Crystaldiskmark. The hottest I've seen it get during normal use (downloading, installing, moving, playing games) is 50-ish C

Edit: I agree with others though, there's better prices elsewhere. I bought my 2tb 970 for $299, and it's been cheaper than that
