Hi,
I want a really big screen e-reader in order to be able to handle documents that my kindle paperwhite is unable to handle (charts, pictures, notes).
I initially considered e-ink screen, but unlike 7-8" screen the price of bigger screen e-readers is prohibiting.
I would much rather spend an amount close to $1000 on a capable tablet so that I can do other things on it and not just read.
I do not want an ipad. It will have to be android, chrome or windows.
Some options that I came across are Microsoft Surface, Samsung Tab S7+ (super amoled screen).
I tried to find some testing on the net where they compare different screens from reading perspective, but could not find any. All reviews mostly briefly touch on the screen.
I do not care about CPU or GPU power, just screen and battery. Would be nice if some devices specifically focus on matt/non glossy/non reflective screens.
Would be nice to be able to draw and make notes with a stylus.
PS I am aware of big screen e-readers like Fujitsu Quadreno, Remarkable 2, Kobo Elipsa, Lookbook P10W.
I seriously considered those devices but I am a bit frustrated about their limitations. Most of them not even able to view DjVU files.
Lenovo Duet 5 13.3". It has an OLED Display and costs $559 from JB update: cheaper at Officeworks. Supports Lenovo USI stylus.
Alternative: Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE 12.4? It's close to 13 inches and it includes a Galaxy S-Pen, so you don't need to go out and buy a third party stylus.
