    And no it's not. There is plenty of budget Chinese stuff out there.

      You're wrong, there are only a handful of semiconductor manufacturers with the capability to produce DRAM chips. The only other one I can think of is nanya.

        But yeah maybe not "plenty" but there is definitely cheap dram out there, and especially brand new dram tech from a no-clue company, with unlisted modules, I personally wouldn't bother with it. Memory issues are silent, and can mess up all sorts.

    • is it the same quality though? do you get the same support? can you walk into the store and claim your consumer right on all these cheap ram?

      • But they aren't really high end. It's just overpriced to make you think that.
