  • Thanks op. Good game. Got this on the switch and you can play 6 players - 4 turtles, 1 rat, 1 reporter…😅

      n cross platform co-op too!

      • Not sure how crossplay would work if switch is 6 players and ps4/Xbox is 4 players?

        • +1

PS online play up to 6.

Shame no PS5 version for some unknown reason.

    • to be fair, the xbox version is no smart delivery so meaning its just xbox one version as well.

I was really looking forward to this game and somehow I completely missed the fact that it wasn't on PS5. Guess I'll have to give it a miss.

      • +4

You realise you can play PS4 games on your PS5 right?

        • -5

As another user stated, all the features of a PS5 including 120hz, Variable Refresh rate etc. are all not available as a result of the game being a PS4 title. Would have been super exciting to have a title like this running at 4K 120hz with HDR on a PS5.

          • +5

            @XVX: So what?

It's a button masher with retro visuals….who cares.

          • +1

@XVX: Not all official ps5 games Automatically have HDR and 120hz.

It's a retro arcade game. This game doesn't really benefit from 120hz , HDR , VRR

            • -5

@CheapOjoe: 120hz mode would reduce input latency, VRR would eliminate any screen tearing and stuttering if the game was struggling to keep up the 4k120fps at any point, and there have been plenty of instances where retro style games have benefitted greatly from the increased colour range of HDR, so I can't see why this game couldn't also do the same.

Shame its not in Unreal Engine 5 as well..

          This comment is on point!

    • What exactly would the PS5 version offer that the PS4 wouldn’t?!

      • +4

The white ps5 logo instead of the ps4 logo on top of the game picture. Us PS5 owners don't want to be confused amongst the PS4 owners.

      • +2

Advanced haptics, adaptive triggers, fast loading if applicable, activity cards, trophy tracking, 3D audio etc.

        • +1

120hz is really the main omission

  • +1

It's reflected in the price but It's worth calling out that the average run through to finish the game is 2.5 hours.

  • -2

its its not TMNT 2 Arcade or TMNT in Time its not a good TMNT :D

    • +2

      It is a good TMNT

  • Is this the same as the genesis game remade?
Or is this a whole new game

Thanks OP 🙏 I played the first 2 levels with my son last night and it’s great fun. Streets of Rage-style combat, but with an even greater variety of attacks that look awesome and don’t require elaborate button combos to pull off.

Some really cool gameplay innovations too, like being able revive downed players in co-op, and high-fiving other players to give them 2 of your life bar segments if they’re low on health. A big thumbs up for the sense of humour that pervades the whole game, too - I haven’t laughed this much while gaming for quite some time.

Initial impression is that there’s a lot of replayability baked in, with challenges you can complete and multiple endings. I’m looking forward to giving it a run with more players.

    • Looks like one my son would enjoy too, and it's on GamePass so zero hassle on Xbox.
