Managed to subscribe using an existing account and a card from wise, without vpn and bluestacks.
Steps I followed:
1.Changed the address in an existing google account's payment profile on PC (deleted the one with old address).
2. Sign in to that account on your phone and clear play store's data.
3. Open play store using that account and try installing Disney+ (might ask you to add a card to your account, add it there or add later when you are about to pay for the subscription). You can check if it worked by going to the top paid apps section and see if the currency is in TRY.
4. After installing Disney+ I tried using a VPN but was stuck on the loading screen so I turned the VPN off and the prices were displayed in TRY.
5. Subscribe to the annual plan and done.

I use SurfShark for HotStar+DP. Streaming was initially very slow however SurfShark Support was pretty good and suggested to use Tunnelblick. Its optional to connect to SurfShark servers and I haven't faced any slowness since then. Regarding location error since last few weeks, I have to clear Chrome browser's cache and restart my macbook. Works for me!

Nord VPN was a hit and miss for me wrt Disney+hotstar.. So I use DNS proxy on my nvidia shield. DNS proxy in turn allows to select the partcular a app particular location like Disney+hotstar to India, Netflix to US etc..

You can signup for Disney + Hotstar if you know someone in India who has an indian mobile number. You need a VPN to signup and to watch. You can only use it on a browser. But screen mirroring works. Once in a while it would ask for an OTP that is sent to the mobile number. The site takes Australian issued Amex. Disney+ Hotstar Premium cost you approx A$26 for a year.

@Mikedrop89: The easiest way to get all the official Indian apps is on fire stick. Create an Amazon India account on fire stick and download all the apps and they get auto updated as well. I find this lot easier than fiddling around with my shield trying to side load apps
@Mikedrop89: I have been using Nord on my firestick which was working well for Disney and Sony ( for UFC) but is now very intermittent. Keep solid works only with Dysney but very slow. I have now jumped on getflix dns and changed the DNS on the Firestick and it has now become wife and child proof. Switch on the TV hit dysney and watch. I’m getting 4K which is amazing
@Maxdax: Using NordVPN too with CCwGTV and it works with no issues, so perhaps it's a firestick thing.
Great with HBO, 4k + Atoms. The version of the HBO app itself is slow so can't do much about that. Fairly bulletproof now (and always have it set on Kansas CIty. I also realised that the new Better Call Saul is on Netflix UK, pretty handy.
Disney+ no tricks required, 4k/Atmos is great too.
My warning with Disney Plus is that it will likely not work reliably - my experience was that I couldn't use my oz Disney Plus account when visiting my home country, with or without VPN… Can't imagine they wouldn't pull the same thing here.
The only caveat here is that its just A$30, so its not a significant sum to take a gamble on
Yup, I tried to use DisneyPlus when i travelled and i think the problem is there is another Disneyplus service in some countries in Asia, so in those countries you cant use the AU disneyplus as its different. But I am not sure if you can in other countries that also just have Disney+ like NZ or US.

Well I finally got around to signing up for Disney+ via this deal. It was a very quick and easy process and certainly worth doing as it beats paying the $120 AUD we were paying.
The longest part of the process was logging out / logging in on the Disney+ App for all the devices (11 all up). I can also confirm it works fine on LG smart TV's (CX & C1 models) using the Disney+ app from the LG store. No need for a VPN.

Do you need to install a VPN app on the smart tv and turn it on when using D+, or is something that's done in your router. If you leave the vpn service running all the time does it affect other apps like Netflix, prime etc.

I have AsusWRT Merlin firmware on my ASUS router, I can set up custom load-outs of VPNs using NordVPN's servers. I can toggle these on or off and have particular devices connect to these automatically.
So I can have TVs that automatically connect to X server, in the same sense as if I were to have NordVPN installed on my TV but with many more variables.
The only negative to this is that it's a bit of a resource hog when you run it, I have a dual-core router though.

No once you sign up, you can use it without a VPN. You'll get the Disney+ Content available in the country you're in (i.e..i OZ, you'll get Oz content, in the UK you'll get UK content).
If VPN is only required for registration. Can we instead ask someone from Turkey (I have friends) to register with my email and credit card. And just logon to my Disney plus here on my computer, google tv etc.

Yeah, such a lovely place to live. The fact that currency devaluation is so fast and thus the cheap prices to us has nothing to do with having a terrible economy or and unliveable conditions.
I got Indian Disney+ Hotstar for $28 a year. However you have to sideload Indian version of the app and use smart DNS or VPN service. My Getflix lifetime subscription works well on nVidia shield.
They also have all HBO original shows and plenty of live cricket. So I save on Binge and Kayo subscription as well.Plus 1.

It won’t work for everyone. You do need an Indian phone number, or someone in India to send you OTP to register and login. I happen to have a Getflix subscription as well. I got a lifetime subscription few years ago to watch Netflix US. It doesn’t work for Netflix anymore, but works perfectly for Disney Hotstar and Amazon Prime.
To pay for the service, I purchased a gift card from Amazon India.
APK for the app can be downloaded and used to install the app on android TV.

Okay so you don't need this BlueStacks nonsense at all - it didn't work for me anyway. It is much simpler.
Revised steps (all done on phone):
- Create a new Google/Gmail account.
- Sign in to Google Play with the new account and add a payment method, setting the location to Turkey.
- Run a VPN (Nord in my case), set to Turkey.
- Deleted existing Disney+ app (if you have it).
- Download Disney+ app.
- Open and sign up. It will use the Payment method above.
Works fine without VPN from then.

Delete & reinstall Disney+ app (or clear data+cache + force stop app),
Turn on Airplane mode, location off
Turn on wifi & Turkish vpn
Then launch Disney+ app and wait a few minutes. Did that help?

It has to be a secondary account if your primary account is set up as an Australian one. You also need to do it on mobile because on web it'll ask you for a phone number.
The problem with creating a new Google account is that you must log into that account every time you want to watch D+ on your smart TV? All my other streaming apps are under my usual Google account so it's a pain to log in/out every time to watch D+

Can confirm this worked for me just now using a Latitude Cc. Followed these instructions all from my Android phone (also using nordvpn) and it all worked, first time, flawlessly.
Have been able to sign into Disney plus using my Sony tv and it logged in fine without any further VPN required.
I did get a screen saying "it looks like you're travelling" or something like that when I logged in but I clicked OK and haven't seen it since.

I had that issue as well. I believe it was due to the VPN. Switch to different VPN or another server. If you're using Android, try using mock location set to Turkey.
P.S. it worked for me using windscribe VPN free after a few attempts.
I was using windscribe pro, tested all the servers. Do you have recommendations for another vpn? Turning out to be not really worth the hassle when sonarr&radarr will welcome me with open arms 😋

Had the same issue as you but mine was showing in GBP.
These steps fixed it for me:
1. Uninstall Disney+
2. Clear the cache of the Google Play store
3. Reinstall Disney+
Fixed this by skipping the phone and doing it via bluestack BUT upon payment and re-entering my Google account it says no Internet connection even though there is and dnsleaktest shows Istanbul.
Clearing the playstore data and cache and redownloading Disneys app fixed it for me!

The need for Google is to set up to have a validated payment method on file (with Google Pay) with the associated payment country set to Turkey. This is for when you sign up.
Signing up directly with a non-Turkey card will fail. If it accepted foreign cards as payment then the whole thing would be trivial.

It will not work via the website! The website only accepts locally issued credit cards for payment.
That's the whole point of setting up the Turkish-based payment method in Google and signing up via the app.

What a process!
- The reason you need a Google account is to use Google Pay, but not sure if you actually need a brand new account.
- If you don't use an Android device, then you need BlueStacks, an Android emulator (to run on PC, only needed for signup).
- You also need a VPN connected to Turkey, but some are blacklisted, try disconnect/re-connect (only needed for signup).
- Mastercard payment method may not work, try Amex.
- Subscription is managed through Google, set a reminder before next renew (not sure what will happen if you cancel immediately).
Getting "Google Play purchases are not supported in your country." error when trying to pay. Anyone know how to resolve this?

I think you need a new google account to set to turkey. If you use an existing google account and change country you wont be able to change back to Australia for 12 months.
You can use any email for the actual disney account however.

It is when you set up your credit card in Google Pay that they will ask for the country. If you select Turkey, it then asks you for post code.

Your vpn's IP is being throttled because too many people are using it. Had the same issue, I just turned it off and the price was in TRY so I was able to sign up and pay without using VPN.

You can do everything on your android phone as well. If you're having trouble, do this:
- WeVPN set to Turkey
- Sign up a new Google account and add payment using Turkey address, etc
- Clear cache and data of the Play store
- Open play store and select your new account
- Download Disney+ and the price should show as TRY
- Pay with Google pay (I used my revolut virtual card)
If you're having issues, disconnect and reconnect the VPN and restart steps.
Whenever I add choose payment details for Disney+, it always reverts to a card from another goggle account I use.
@ramona: I had that and fixed it by clearing the cache and data of play store then relaunching, selecting my turkey account and downloading Disney+.
The new account should pop up hopefully. It did for me at least.

So, I tried this a few times last night with windscribe VPN and kept getting stuck on the Disney blue screen of death.
I open the Disney app this morning, no VPN and the pricing is sitting there in TRY. Subscribed and job done!

Yeah, I think it had something to do with fraud detection.
Tried Mastercard many times, didn't work even though international online transaction was enabled.
Tried Amex, failed at first but it sent a text straightaway asking about the charge. Replied to confirm, second attempt went through successfully.

I think I did. It was really strange, when adding the Mastercard for the first time, it never asked about the full address, only country was required (set to Turkey). But charge never went through, same error as above.
When adding a second Mastercard, full address was required, did not continue to add.
When adding an Amex, again full address was required, but it would not take a bogus address (it checks, cannot add). So had to use actual Australian address and it worked.
I think you're right about the fraud detection. I created a new virtual visa card using Wise, then restarted all steps with the new visa card and it worked.
I tried this and it didn't work unfortunately. Signed up for Wise, Revolut, and two Aussie banks. One Aussie bank blocked my card.

I had a lot of issues when opening the Disney app it would freeze
I got around it eventually by using WeVPN it appears the other VPNs I was using may of been the issue. WeVPN has a 7 day trial after you install the app on your phone. I did have trouble with that as it actually tried to set me up from Turkey and wouldn't accept my payment details (yeah that thought I was in Turkey but Disney didn't! I didn't even have the VON on) So I had to remove my Turkey profile from my phone until I got that set up the I out the turkey Google account back on my phone.
I made sure to clear storage of Play Store app. I also went to settings on my phone then Google and set my profile to my new Turkey based Google account (not sure if this bit is really needed)
I had to try the download and open of the Disney app a couple times before it worked

I can vouch for this - ie removing other google accounts that already have an existing payment method from your phone/tablet.
After I've removed my aus google account which has an aus payment method, the app immediately switched to recognising my newly created turkey google account and presented me with the turkey sub cost > voila signed up successfully! No need for a VPN, except for probably just creating your Turkey Google account.
Yep, I was pulling my hair out with the App freeze/stall after the splash screen. So basically the entire process on an existing phone with AU account would be:
With Turkey VPN connected:
1. Sign out of your AU account
2. Go to settings and clear Google Play Store app cache
3. Add new account Sign up for Turkey Google account
4. Add card with Turkey address (pick a random address from Google Maps) - will probably need to verify with your bank after using SMS/phone call
5. Launch Play Store and download Disney Plus app
6. DISCONNECT FROM YOUR VPN - this is important as the app would keep freezing for me if I keep the VPN connected
7. Without VPN - the Disney Plus would show the Turkey price and let you subscribeGood luck

Haven't had any luck getting this to work with WeVPN on a few different devices. Either the app doesn't load, or it does but it's showing me the aussie dollar amount to subscribe.
If you have other google accounts saved on your device try removing them first and leave your Turkey Google account as the sole account logged in on your device/playstore. Then try opening the disney plus app again without VPN.
Yeah I tried that, still coming up with the aussie amount. I've checked my new google account, has a turkey address and I added my card into Google Pay with the same address. Also tried downloading the app via incognito browser on Turkey VPN and cleared the cache, same result.
You cant just add an address it needs to be a fresh google account with only a Turkish Address
Try going to your playstore and tap on your circle profile icon on the top right > tap on payment and subscriptions > tap payment methods > tap more payment settings > tap edit if you already have a card saved and double check the location is set to turkey

Google asks for a Turkish phone number when I try and make a new account, even from my Galaxy phone using gmail.
Try running a VPN connected to turkey before trying to create the google account. When I did mine I was given the option to skip registering a number.

I've done it….. after numerous fails with the payment method not working this is what I did to get MINE working:
- On my android phone, I turned on NordVPN Turkey and made a google account on the google play store.
Went into payment methods, and added my Revolut card to it, making sure that I picked Turkey as the country in the payment methods (they ask for postcode so I just searched for a postcode on google and used that)
From here, on my PC I installed Bluestacks. I then turned on my PC NordVPN Turkey and then used the new google account to sign into the play store on Bluestacks.
Making sure the PC NordVPN is still on, I installed Disney+ on Bluestacks.
From here, I turn off my PC NordVPN and set up the subscription. The prices showed in TRY and my payment method stopped getting cancelled.
It's tedious but I could not get it to work on my android phone. I think it was because I already had google accounts with existing payment methods and it kept reverting to those ones. I did not want to remove my accounts and so tried this. Hope it helps someone!

All good, working fine. CDC card transactions take time to show up but remembered my previous D+ account so was able to re-subscribe and pay in Turk. Certainly one of the harder hacks.

After a lot of effort I've now managed to get to the payment screen in disney+ with 349 TRY but had an issue with logging into Google payments so restarted the app and now the message I've got is: "welcome, it seems your not subscribed. Please subscribe to disney+ to start streaming". With the only other option is to log out. No subscribe here link, nothing! Wtf?

Force stop the app, then when it launches quickly click "cancel" as it tries to autologin with saved credentials.

- Create new Google account on phone
- Delete cache in Google Play Store (not sure if needed)
- Select new account in Google Play Store
- Add payment method and select Turkey as Country.
- Uninstall Disney+ if you have it installed.
- Open Google Chrome/browser on your phone in an incognito window. Set your window to desktop mode.
- Search Disney+ on Google Play store in your browser.
- Log in on new account and remote install Disney+ to your phone
- Open app on phone and pay in TRY.

Worked for me. As mentioned, the cost still displays in AUD but when you click on the year subscription it then changes to try- Used with the citibank debit card, same used for Netflix!

For those who have the same issue like this, before you click on complete subscription, turn on the turkey vpn so that it will allow Google Play payment coming through. Dont turn the vpn on prior to clicking on the app, otherwise you will stuck in the blue screen forever. Hope it helps!

Also to add some new methods. I don't have an android phone, but Google TV, and it worked perfectly.
I did your steps 1-4 on the computer browser (https://play.google.com), then remotely installed Disney+ using the browser onto Google TV. Make sure you logged into this new Google account on your Google TV btw; you can add multiple accounts in addition to your normal AUD account.
Opened up Disney+ on Google TV and subscribed (said AUD initially, but changed to TRY at confirmation page).
BOOM.

Edit 2: Ok, turning off the VPN to launch the Disney+ App on phone allowed the app to run properly, turned it back on then for the payment step (recognised my old account and re-subscribed). Think it's all good now. Used Crypto.com card, hasn't come up in the payment history yet.

Steps:
10. Download turkish VPN free app (Turkey VPN), DO NOT connect yet.
11. Open Disney+ app and goto payment page.
12. Start VPN app and connect to Turkish server.
13. Switch back to Disney+ and Complete the payment.
14. Once payment is successful disconnect the VPN and complete setup of the Disney+ app profiles etc.Can confirm it worked on chrome book for sign up! Now watching on Apple TV and iPhone, no problem at all. I was also able to get a partial refund on my previous annual subscription after creating a new account and paid in TRY. thanks!!!

Thanks, OP. My existing sub was about to expire and go up to $119 a year. This worked for me by adding my amex. I just typed my AU address in the address field lines but chose a TR province and postcode and it went through just fine. I used NordVPN.

It didn't work 2 days ago or yesterday morning. But I believe they're had some complaints in Turkey with people unable to sign up, so they've loosened the signup security a bit on Disney end, but possibly tightened it on the Google Playstore end.

Not sure how I got my to work. I removed my credit card and added revolut, cleared google play data / cache. Switched off VPN, then it got through. Revolu rejected the payment in the next step and then added in my cba card and it went through.
PS. I did switch on air plane mode and switched on wifi.

People on the previous page are reporting you don't need the VPN when launching. Soaybe disconnect and see if you can purchase?

I was getting a different payment error previously (seemed more bank fraud-y) - this is a brand new message with a second account I set up.
When I didn't use a VPN prices were showing up in AUD (as of around two hours ago).
I had that problem a couple of times, but as long as I got it to install the Turkish version it seemed to retain the TRY prices.
Anyone with a Samsung phone - using Secure Folder seemed to help me get past a few steps. But am stuck on payment.

Did not even use VPN for anything. Just created a new Google account. Added ING card with Turkish billing address in google pay. Downloaded the Disney+ app via Turkish google account. Registered with the same email address created above and subscribed to annual plan.
PS: It shows $119 AUD on the screen but when you actually select it the Google pay prompt show 349 Turkish Lira. And that's what got charged to ING account as well.

I signed up via phone for a new Google account. No phone validation needed.
No bluestacks or any other tool.
Used Up card for payment, transaction declined and the card was also blocked, had a chat with them and they are looking into it now, hopefully they can lift the block and allow the transaction to go through.
I had the same issue with Up and talked to the in-app chat. The first line person couldn't fix it and transferred me to someone else. While I was on hold I got a call from the fraud team, and it seems like they're the ones who need to remove the block. In the end I used a Wise virtual card.
I had the same thing occur. In the customer support chat, I just asked to lift the block and they asked to confirm if one of the transactions was from you. Devize's instructions worked for me.
This is how I got my subscription to work - all steps done in android phone
- I create new google account
- add new payment, I used wise card, make sure change country to Turkey and add post code. I added 34440
- I went to playstore and removed other accounts connected to playstore except the new google account that I just created
- I also went to app setting for playstore and deleted the caches
- I connected VPN to Turkiye (Windscribe)
- Open playstore and download Disney plus application
- This is the weird part, If I am connected to
Vpn, I cant get pass disney plus blue screen
- I decided to disconnect vpn and retry and it works.My wise card is accepted, I tried to use it on my ipad and it works too (no vpn required)

@superforever: This is when you need to add method of payment for the new gmail account in playstore, you need credit card details, it then asked you for country and postcode. Thats all . no detailed billing address is required.

- use my old andriod phone (fully reset)
- create google account with Google App not gmail.com web site to by pass mobile phone verification
- add payment method with C.C. change it to Turkey, my case I have to add random address, phone, post code have to match
- no VPN until now
- connect to windscribe VPN, open google playstore download DisneyPlus App
- If taking too long, just stop VPN in the middle of the download and it will download a lot quicker.
- connect VPN, open Disneyplus app
- sign up
- During the payment it will show A$ and may said Google Play not support in your country.
- Turn off VPN to continue with the payment, just select 1 year in A$ but in the actual Google Payment it will show TRY 349.90
- Pay and all good.
I think the most important is you download the Turkey Disney Plus app and T&C will be in their language.

That is bank error you have to talk with them to let it pass.
Having the same issue. Amex, Visa (debit & credit) cards are not working. I could add them to the Google Pay but couldn't use them to pay. Contacted Amex and the operator said they didn't limit the payment.

@thefluffyduff: Not sure if this will fix the issue but try these steps:
1. Use a card from wise, it worked for me
2. Check the address in your google account's payment profile. If there is a payment profile with australian address, remove it.
3. Check the cards you added in your google account. In payment methods check if the payment methods you're using require verification or not.

For what it’s worth, according to the NAB chat team, the “transaction has been declined based on known fraud profiles” “59. Suspect Fraud. Decline”.Not sure if that explains Wise too, as others have been able to use it successfully.

I am not sure but you can try create google account on computer, add payment method make sure use Turkey address, use VPN on iPhone to download Turkey disney plus app and register and pay with google play.
But I am not 100% sure, I found that the most important must use Turkey's disney plus app to sign up and no need to use VPN during payment, it may show A$ but the actual google pay amount will be in TRY

This is how I solve my issue
- make sure my cc is registered under new gmail account with turkey address
- after adding the new account to google play, remove other google accounts from the device and leave only the new account only
- install the Disney+ app from chrome browser as mentioned in other thread using the new account
- I open the app and it shows turkey pricing, hit signup using new email and new password
- I initially get spinning icon only, then I bring up turkey vpn and it connect and ask for google pay cc and enter google password.
- now I need to disconnect my vpn before hitting the payment button (ot else it stuck)
- now I am registered and payment appear on my ccHope this helps. But it may or May not work for everyone. Worth a shot

Signed up successfully but not without hiccups.
I followed devize’s instruction to the T and after I entered my sign up email (the Google email I created to pay in TRY) and password, it threw the ‘Disney Plus is not available in your region’ error. (I was on CyberGhost VPN set to Turkey). I tried restarting the phone and repeat the sign up process but to no avail. I then restarted the phone again and turned off the VPN then load the Disney+ app and it still showed TRY pricing. I proceeded to sign up to see what would happen and it got me to the payment page after entering the previous email address and password. It then got me through to Google payment and accepted my Master debit card without problem.So, if you encounter the Disney+ unavailable or Google pay region issues, it is likely that the Disney+ app doesn’t like your VPN. If the Disney+ app still shows TRY pricing, then it is worth a try to turn your VPN off and repeat the sign up step.

It worked, but honestly quite an annoying process signing in and out of Apple ID across multiple devices. Glad it's sorted for a year, and I imagine by adding more gift cards to the account in a years time will make the renewal process very easy.

You are allowed to create 3 digital cards per day. I thought I had a problem too til I realised I had changed the Country on my Wise card to Turkey. The digital card is only available in UK, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and Switzerland, Canada, Brazil or EEA.

For those with payment card issues, I created a one time card using Zip pay and that worked as well. I added the payment card to the Turkish Google account.

Absolute nightmare to get this working. Solution for me was created new Google account in BlueStacks and add payment in BlueStacks. I then used Turkey proxy to download Disney app. Turned proxy off and loaded app in BlueStacks. Prices showed AUD but like others when posting turkey lira was displayed. It worked but doesn't many hours.
After trying some of the step by steps solutions mentioned in this post, this is exactly also how I finally made it work.
It seems that adding a fake Turkey address in Google Pay helped (although it's optional in the registration process).
Worked for me as using @device's instructions without VPN needed and paid with Coles master gift card.

If you have VPN, it's good, but no VPN is needed.
The key and most important part is to have a google account linked to play store having a payment method added with "Turkey" address.
Create a new account either on mobile or desktop and try to add any credit card as payment method using any Turkey billing address.
Once this is done, add this account to your play store. Remove any other account to make sure it uses this account payment method when you try to signup.
For samsung phones if available, use secret folder which is a different profile and behaves as a another phone, so you don't need to mess up with your current play store.
I think you can download Disney+ app from anywhere and it should not matter, but to be on safe side, either download it using Turkey VPN, or remotely install it from desktop using your new turkey google account.
So basically when you have…
1) Play store setup with Google account having payment method using Turkey billing address
Either remove any other google account, or use any old phone, or use secrete folder/profile available on some Samsung phone, but your play store should have only 1 google account with turkey billing/payment method.
2) Disney+ app install (either via Turkey VPN or through desktop using turkey google account)
You are good to go…
While you try to sign-up, make sure no VPN is connected, clear data/cache of play store and Disney app to avoid any hiccups.
It should pick the google play store payment method and should charge in TRY.If you are getting any errors at the final payment stage, and it's showing amount in TRY, most likely the issue is with your bank or card. Either it's blocked or restricted to be used for international transactions.
I was able to add my Revolt card without any issue to my google account, but it failed at the payment stage. Tried to add CBA and it won't allow me to add. For my Amex, it didn't add at first instance giving me error, but after few attempt, manage to add it. Finally manage to pay using my Amex.So focus on getting google account to setup a payment method with Turkey method, that's the most important step.

It's Just the bogus Google account/name/address to do.Just did it and it was very quick and easy.
The longest part was signing in with the new Disney+ account details for all the devices. Also it works as per normal on our LG smart TV's - no need for a VPN.

Turns out it has technically nothing to do with VPN and everything to do with the region that is set on your Google Play store account. If you already have a Google Play account with Turkey set as region then no need to go through any hassle of creating a new account. I used an old spare account because I had one and didn't want to go through phone number verification crap.
Create a new account or use a pre-existing account and change Google Play Region to Turkey. You can change the region only once per 12 months.
To check your region, go to your Google Play app —> Tap your profile (top right corner) —> General —> Account and device preferences. It would be the third field "Country and profiles" from the top on this screen.
To set the region to Turkey you will need an android device which doesn't have any Google account setup on it (only temporarily). I used BlueStacks because I didn't have a spare device and it was pretty easy, just download and run on a computer. It just works.
Create a new Google Account (only if you don't have one that you can use for Turkey as region) using Gmail —> Profile —> Add another account. I checked and it didn't ask for a phone number in this situation. I used my Samsung note 10+ although decided to use an old account.
Open that spare android device/BlueStacks and login using this Google account.
Open Play store and install any free VPN which has Turkey available. I used Windscribe.
Activate VPN, and go to Google Play store (not Google Pay - very important)
Tap your profile (top right corner) —> Payment and subscriptions —> Payment methods
Tap Add credit or debit card. Here it would ask a question (if your VPN is working) to change region to Turkey. Change it and Add International Fee Free card. Make sure you select Turkey as country. It might give you an error if your card is already linked to another account. If that is the case, you will need to raise a case with Google to resolve this issue because it won't work even if you remove your card from the other account. Google support helped me out as I faced the same issue.
Once Payment methods with Turkey is added, you're pretty much done. Deactivate the VPN.
Install Disney Plus app on the spare android device using the Turkey account. You will see the TL 349.99 option immediately.
Activate Disney Plus as per your preferences.
Strange, i'm overseas right now and my disney+ won't work unless I turn on my VPN. Also i sometimes have to reconnect to a different server as it will detect i am outside of Australia.
But this is a good deal if it is working for the 12 months. But just make sure you have VPN handy in case they decided to detect location.

I think the most important is the Google a/c and google pay method (have to make sure only one Turkey Google a/c and one Turkey pay mothod) Turkey's Disney app I am not 100% sure if it is necessary because it will display Turkey's T&C because during Disney payment screen it will still show A$ but the actual Google pay screen will be in TRY (have to turn off VPN otherwise it will say Google pay not support in your country)
My current plan doesn't not end till December but is worth it to sign up again with a new account incase they block this method in the future.
Will probably have this or another hack available by Dec. Don't think you need to worry too much.
I have managed to get it work on Google chromecast tv. Here is what I did if anyone who doesn’t have android phone.
- Open new Google account
- Set up payment using citi plus with Turkey as country
- Made purchase on some game worth TUR 4.99
- Login using new Google account on Chromecast tv
- Clear Google play cache
- Download Disney plus
- Sign up and pay
For me step 3 was important as It always failed on the purchase step with error “purchase not supported in your country” when I directly go to step 7
I was using devize's method with a 28 Degrees card, no luck. I made a purchase, but still getting the "purchase not supported in your country" error.
On the plus side, I discovered how cheap the Turkish Play Store is and got a game for 90% less.

I used windscribe free VPN. Turned it on just before going to make payment

I tried again with Windscribe (Istanbul - Ataturk). No joy, but I think I know the issue. I did a where am I search, and it says I'm in the Czech Republic. Happens with both my Windscribe account with 50GB/month from years ago and a brand new free one I just created.
Success! With VPN on, I removed and re-added my Google payment method. VPN off, go back to Disney+ app and subscription was successful.
I can't remember if I'd ever had the VPN on when adding the payment method, maybe not? As for the Czech location, this was related to the mock location app I had set. Didn't realise it would have an effect when not running.
@deals4amar: VPN on phone, I didn’t touch a desktop for this. I must have tried adding the payment method with VPN on because I can’t think of any other step I would have used it for, which makes me suspect there was luck of the draw in VPN servers or Google Pay accepting my card after a certain amount of time or something

Noticed the movie "Zootropolis" in my Disney+ but checked with a friend it should be Zootopia in a regular Aussie D+ subscription. Zootropolis is the international name, so wondering if we've ended up with a different content library - even though I'm not using any VPN and changed back to Aussie Google Play account.
It's your profile language. If you change to English (US) it'll say Zootopia. English (UK) says Zootropolis.

Didn't think it'd work at first as it was asking for an address, post code, etc. But I entered card details, clicked Turkey, put my actual address in (to match CC), then it came up with error for post code… so I just stuck a 0 on the end…

I think no one knows this for sure as this is new hack, so I guess will have to wait till it's due for annual renewal.

Not really worth worrying about for a year, can always cancel and get a refund in any event.
Correct this is exactly how it works. They will send an email well in advance (typically 3 months) advising the new renewal price.
Caveat: If you change your PLAY Store and Credit Card to another country, ie: AU then your renewal will be in AUD with AUD pricing (currently $~110)
When they raise prices again you will be notified that it will take effect at the renewal time. That's how it worked in AU so Turkie will be the same. (Google Play and iTune subscription both operate this way).
Inflation in Turkie is quite high, but unlike Netflix which bills monthly, you won't see an increase for 12months.

I first created new account in Argentina for youtube premium. Now I switched it to Turkey address. Then I have two payment profiles for both Argentina and Turkey. Cancelled and re-subscribe to youtube premium. It shows TRY currency instead of ARS.
Then I installed BlueStacks and logged in with my Google account. The country still in Argentina even though I removed the address. Just keep the Turkey one. And Disney plus app shows $6.99/m or $69.9 per year. Anyone experienced similar?
that sounded like me trying to get the cheaper price on disney Tunisia, I created tunisia payment but once downloaded and opened Disney it showed $69.9 USD so I just abort it and went the Turkey route.

I managed to subscribe the Disney+ just minutes ago. I was using my other phone to follow the steps mentioned in the OP's page without using VPN.
Just make sure before you sign up - you would need to uninstall the Disney+ app if you had one before. Create a brand new Google account with Turkey location and or change your existing location if you are still eligible on your main phone - (For me, I chose not to use my main phone).
For the payment, I am using the Citibank+ card to purchase without any issues.
For postcode, pick any one from e.g. Ankara province such as 06010, 06020, 06030, …, …, etc.Bingo! Thanks for all who have provided the guidance.
Payment isn't going through (your transaction cannot be completed) for me for some reason, I tried with commbank and a revolut card. ?? I did it with the bluestacks and the non-vpn way and it shows the TRY price but doesn't actually pay for it.

Is it possible that the app does not install on a rooted android phone? I followed the instruction but the chrome browser in phone shows that Disney+ is not available for my phone.
don't bother with that convuluted guide, all you need is proper set up of turkey payment in google playstore (not google pay in settings). It doesn't matter if you have the existing Disney app, download it from the play store, get it from the browser. Even if the disney app showing AUD, if your payment account is set up properly for turkey then in the final step it will show TRY.

@docians: I had the same "payment method does not match country " issue initially, what I did was simply turned off VPN, then add a Turkish payment profile and it should let you. (VPN on then cannot because your card is issued in AUS). As for the "payment fails" issue, it is because the card issuer treats this as a fraudulent activity so just ring them and explain. That's where I found these neo-digital banks come in handy as you can simply chat with them and explain what you did and they'll allow the transaction through in no time. (I used Up in this case) whereas most of the bigger banks do not provide personalised services like this.

My newly registered turkey google account has been disabled… I'm not sure why…
Finally I made it works after several days on/off trying. Basically I followed fishbomb instructions but as many pointed, I had that common problem which the Google Payment failed.

Nord worked for me also. Seems like some VPN IPs are blocked which give the Google Play payment error. Disconnect and reconnect to get a different server and it worked for me. Turkey #62 worked for me on Nord

I finally managed to sign up today after a week or so of trying and getting denied at the payment screen. Couldn't subscribe to the yearly but managed to get the monthly in the end. I will settle for that for an extra AUD$6 per year(if it lasts). This is what worked for me.
I basically used the BlueStacks method from the OP with NordVPN while connected to a Turkey 'obvascated' server (#64).
Except I signed up for Disney+ account directly on the Disney+ website (not in the BlueStacks Disney app) while connected to VPN on an incognito browser tab and then exited prior to payment. Then I logged into my new Disney account on Bluestacks Disney+ app, selected the monthly plan and put my payment through the app.
I think it's important not to be signed into any other Google accounts on the devices you are using at all and as stated above to force stop and clear the cache of Playstore, Play services and Disney+ cache in Bluestacks. Do not disconnect from the VPN at any time when signing up for your new Google Turkey account, when downloading the Disney+ in BlueStacks, while using your Google Turkey account to sign up for the Disney account or anytime you are using Bluestacks.
You don't need VPN running Disney+ outside of Bluestacks once the process is completed.
Don't worry if you can't get any videos to play on the Disney+ app in BlueStacks, you don't need it anymore. I have it playing on Chromecast GTV, LG TV, phone app and windows browser.

Frustrating but… I'll try the bluestacks method next I guess.

It has just worked for me. I followed all the steps as in the initial post but it also would tell me Google Pay is not available as method to pay when I opened the app on the phone. The price was in TYR already.

I think I tried (and failed) so many times that Google Play refuses to accept my Ubank Visa Debit card anymore. It did accept my AMEX but, even after following all the above steps, I still get payment/83 error. I guess if I ain't astute enough to get this to work, I don't deserve it. I'll continue to sail.
Spent way too long trying so many different methods. I had used the fishbomb method for a friend and worked, but didn't work for me, on the same device… I kept getting caught out by the Google Play purchase not supported in your country issue. But this finally worked for me… I still haven't quite worked out the correct combination that got it going for me but I've listed what I did below including steps you probably don't need. But I think it was Windscribe in step 9-11 that worked. I had tried the same method with Surfshark but didn't work. My failed debit card previously worked after this method, so don't think it was the card.
1) Create a new Google account on an android device (I fully factory reset it, but don't think this is necessary if your clear cache etc)
2) Opened Google Play Store, added payment method and set the country to Turkey and added a random Turkey post code.
3) I added a random Turkey address into my Google profile. (I don't think this was necessary, but can't be bothered redoing whole process to confirm!)
4) Opened up Incognito Chrome Browser. Searched for Disney Plus app. Logged in with newly created Google account.
5) Opened Disney+
6) Signed up with newly created account, got the TRY payment method
7) Went to complete subscription, then I got the Error (Google Play purchase are not supported in your country)
8) Deleted the Disney+ app
9) Used Windscribe VPN and connected to Turkey
10) Opened up Incognito Chrome Browser. Searched for Disney Plus app. Logged in with newly created Google account.
11) Turned off Windscribe VPN (if you don't turn it off, it just spins trying to load the Disney+)
12) Opened Disney+
13) Chose sign in on Disney+ and completed the subscription.Hope this helps someone who had similar experience to me!

This showcases that there is no rhyme or reason as to what works and what doesn't. Thankfully for me, the Apple method was simple. The irony for me was I thought I'd join to watch The Old Man, only to find out Disney are 4 weeks behind the US anyway so, I had to go sailing the high seas anyway ;)

I got everything up till 7, did not delete the app and then everything onwards worked. Signed up using a new disney account. Totally odd how it works after you turn off the VPN. When I had windscribe on it said, it was blocked due to suspicious IP.

I ended up solving my issue and signing up using the android method. I had to contact google re my payment error and they managed to allow my payment to go through. Working flawlessly since.

Thanks@docians: I followed the link on the error I was getting. It was a 'Learn More' button and I followed the instructions to end up at a chat with google rep. Advised them I had an issue with my payment method. They sorted the issue in 24 hours.
For Apple users:
- Create Turkish Apple ID
Go to https://appleid.apple.com/account
Follow the onscreen steps. In the mobile number section use your Australian mobile number (Very important to use a valid number or risk losing your ID). Choose country as Turkey. Then follow through the rest to create your ID. Login into Apple ID on a browser. Go to this link to enter a Turkish address to your Turkish Apple ID and save.
Go to Settings on your iPhone/iPad > Your Name > Media and Purchases > Log out from your current ID and login with your Turkish Apple ID
Go to App Store and download Disney Plus app > A pop up may appear to confirm your details > Choose payment method as “None”
Buy TL iTunes gift cards from TurGame (50TL/TRY x 7 gift cards) > Choose currency as TL/TRY and pay with international transaction fee free card.
Redeem iTunes gift cards by going to App Store > Account (located at right top corner) > Redeem gift cards or code.
Open Disney Plus App > Sign Up

Just did this and confirmed it still worked.
But, one thing I will add, is that I renewed my already expired Disney+ subscription with it.
When it asked what email I wanted to associate with the new subscription I put in my old email address just to see what happens, it asked for my old password and then let me renew at the turkey rate.
Then signed into my devices without a vpn and hay presto, works like a charm.
Yeah says “looks like your travelling” so they obviously knows what’s up, but for $30 I’ll roll the dice.
Finally got it to work on Bluestacks. No android phone on hand. Followed the main method step by step, got Disney Plus installed and showing price in TRY. But couldnt proceed with payment and kept showing Google purchase not supported in country. Created new Disney account won’t work. Purchased random app in TRY and payment went through. Downloaded Windscribe and connected via VPN. Clicked through Disney App (using existing AU account) and google pay showed up, disconnected VPN and payment went through.

That sounds like a bank issue. You needed to let them know its you and enable chargers from Turkey
@DoesntEvenMatter: Nah it's a google blocking me for suspicious activity issue. I guess that's what happens when I have too many accounts and cards trying to pay in TRY.
@Dobby33: If it's just your payment profile and not the Google account itself that's suspended, you can just close it and create a new one.
Exactly the same thing happened to me, I got an email from Google pay asking me to verify my bank card provided with further ID with address (in Turkey)

I am getting the error. "Purchase with Google Pay is not allowed in your country". Anyone has solution to this please? I tried Windscribe vpn as well but it didn't helped.
When I open the app it show in TRY but when I click on it to pay it simply throws the above error.

People throughout the 9 pages of comments here have a lot of good suggestions. I spent many hours, creating multiple new Google accounts, with several different credit cards and different VPNs, but all I managed to achieve was getting two credit cards banned from Google & a call from the AMEX fraud department.
The Apple/IOS method took 5 mins and I succeeded first go. Good luck.

Hello guys! I'm trying for around 2 weeks (!!!) and still I get the same 'transaction can't be completed' message in the final step! I tried with and without VPN and a buncha other different ways but I always get this message in the end. I tried 2-3 different banks but nothing seems to work, even tho there are still people from my country that succeed. I contacted google support and they send me an email to verify my card via ID photo and card photo. I really dont think its necessary to give that information. I tried purchasing a game for 2TR, still wont work. Even tho I verified my cards via mobile banking codes, playstore just wont let me make a purchase. Do I have to wait or something, so they would be reviewed by Google? Ofcourse there is mismatch between my cards, my country and the one (Turkey) that I claim in the payment method, but I guess everyone had that but plenty still succeeded. Im pretty desperate and its now became an obsession, so please, does anyone have any idea what am I missing here? Thanks in advance!!
Some who have not succeeded with the Android method have had better luck with the Apple method. I myself have used the apple method. A lot more straight forward.

Hi @winsonian, I just noticed the google account I created for this has been suspended by Google, however the DisneyPlus account still works. Did you managed to get what Google policy it violated? Did you manage to get your account back?
I asked support to unban me (basically just said that I needed the account to manage my Disney plus) and they somehow unbanned me!

I used a brand new Google account. After paying for 1 year subscription using Google Play I then removed payment details from my account and then deleted the Google account. It worked for a while but now when I log into Disney+ it says my account has expired. Ah well, I will try again using the Apple method.

No mate. For some reason, it looks like i need to use a VPN to watch - which was not the case before..
When i signed up before, i could watch and cast it on the TV witout an issue.. no VPN required..
But now, i am only able to see the contents via VPN…
This would be an issue, as i always cast from my phone to TV.. not sure what the workaround is.. :(
Try uninstalling and reinstalling the App see if that helps

It seems the issues and account cancellations are related to Google, not Disney. So the Apple method, which doesn't need VPNs or CC payment methods, is the way to go. Mine is still going strong.

I just opened Disney on my smart TV and yes very limited shows!

Yes, access to full catalogue without VPN. Just double check the profile is set to 18+ rating not 13+. I initially set to 18+ but 2 days later all the profiles were at 13+, very strange. But changed it back and no problems since.
Yep same here, so the 'default' profile that was created for me was set to 13+ rating. As soon as I changed it to 18+ all the content appeared.
