Prefect of you want to make cottage cheese and make money
Best in you are in Vic and living in apartment where gas is freeI make yoghurt, and I leave it for about 15-20 hours to ferment, to give it a kick-arse sour tinge that no store bought yoghurt will ever have.
Then strain it to make it almost like cheese. It's a great sour cream substitute, and lasts a helluva lot longer in the fridge.
Umm this nothing bargain, honestly. Woolworths often will reduce short dated products. Within only 1.5 days you can use it (within the Best Before date) I'd say its not really worth it for those who use milk less often such that they dont consume 2 L milk in 1 day.
You can freeze milk. Though seems like a lot of bother to freeze almost spoiled milk just to save a few cents per day.
Ever heard of Eisbock milk? Awesome for coffee, tea & etc
Do we really need to post short deals? You can walk in any Supermarket everyday and find things like this….
And Milk…. Hell no.
Must say my local Coles doesn't often label them and sells things with a day to go…. Woolworths seems better in this regard in my experience.
Buying short dated, quick sale milk can give you the runs.
I buy short dated milk in bulk all the time when available, and have had it up to three days past the date without issue. Might just have poor tastebuds or an iron-cast stomach, so ymmv.
Any deals on lettuce?
Yes, leave it and buy Baby spinach etc. Supply and demand..supply and demand..
thanks OP just called my assistant and booked a G5 jet departing asap, should get there before store closes at 10 pm. tnx again!
Shame, closes 9pm :)
This is just regular short-dated price reductions. Every supermarket in the country has them, every day. Totally unremarkable. Neggin'.
Well..I appreciated it ..thanks op. Nothing goes out reduced any more around here.
…And I'm convinced that placing a 2L full cream milk inside a 3L container, then adding 1L of water is 'skim milk'.
Peer review it people (try it on ya missus).
True. I get milk for under 10 cents a litre from local Coles. It's been a while I bought milk at full price
I agree.
If Things like this were posted more often we'd end up with pages of crap to scroll through.
Also even is there are 50 jugs of this it's barely a saving of $100 for oz bargainers combined only if an ozbargainer snagged each of the 50 jugs.Compared to $300 off a TV that 10 people might jump on from a listing here where OZbEr's might save $3K combined.
This is…
Limited to a small geographical location
Limited in real money saved
Limited use product (1 day from expiry)
Limited quantity for they type of product it isFor a shopper passing the fridge in this particular supermarket this is a bargain.
For the rest of Australia it is not.
How many are left? There ought to be at least 10 left to post as a deal.
