If you're comfortable with your current gpu for at least 6 months then why not? I have my gtx 1660 back on Mar 2020, just before covid hit hard and survive till now, probably waiting for the rtx 4070 this november or grab a 3xxx at the EoL price.
I recently bought this card, and fan speed control on this card is primitive (or broken)
Fans seem to turn on at 50% (1600RPM), cool the card, switch off, card heats up, fans go on again, fans go off - no gradual fan speed increase to keep it quiet so compared to my old 1060 the fan cooling on this card seems to be a big massive step backwards.
Setting it to Silent under the Adrenalin software actually turns on the fan permanently at 1600 rpm. Fan curve doesn't seem to work either so you can set your own fan profile.
Idle power usage wise, GPU clocks down, memory clocks down to a nice idle, but the moment you turn on 3rd monitor, ram clock goes up to ~1990Mhz…
Overall not a bad card but really needs work on the cooling design (start fans at a lower RPM and increase as temperature increases)
Once the 3060Ti or 4060 comes out and is around the $500 mark or less I'll buy it, and use this card in a different PC.
My Gigabyte RX 570 used to do that, it was very annoying. Couldn't turn off the PC without the fans spinning up for 30s before letting my computer shutdown.
Shame. The Gaming OC's thermal design was suppose to be better than the Eagle variant.

Ouch, just bought it for 439. Haven't installed it yet as I broke my x570i motherboard when installing this.
Wish someone had told me that am4 itx boards were so exxy before I went down the Ryzen path.
