It’s pretty good. I contacted them online and also called them up. They were pretty responsive.

I did a price match from TGG and they honoured the quote even after 10 days.

Dryer was delivered on scheduled date and time

      • Yeah good customer service. Replied within hours

Do you mean the rebate place? It’s legit. I got money back last year on my dryer.

Their service is quite amazing too.

    • Couldn't agree more. I recently bought a washer from them and their service right from contacting them all the way through delivery and installation. There are so many ways you engage them - chat, phone and email and they are super responsive!

  • Esssto has gone off the roof

    • What do you mean? What is good about Esatto?

      • I meant their price.

  • I missed on the last deals for Esatto :( But still waiting! Anything else around the price range of $600?

  • How's this compare to the bosch or cheaper esatto?

This model was $888 + delivery two or three weeks ago at the good guy, and maybe $80 store credit if pickup, but sadly no stock nearby.

    • I used that deal to price match at e&s to get it for $868.
Tgg wasn’t sure about when will it be delivered but e&s had it in stock and delivered it for free in 2 days
So yeah saved $75 which tgg charges for delivery, installation and for taking away the packaging.

Fisher & Paykel were purchased by Haier about 10 years ago. All Haier appliances in Australia are sold and serviced by Fisher & Paykel. F&P branded front load washers, vented dryers, condenser dryers, and heat pump dryers are manufactured by Haier.
I don't know if this particular dryer is good or not, but at least it is backed by F&P here in Australia

  • Thank you, was looking for one, and got this.

i recently picked up a hisense 9kg heat pump dryer and it is a bloody game changer, especially for this time of the year and having 2 kids.. highly recommend.

    • Is this the Hisense that you have: https://hisense.com.au/product/front-load-heat-pump-dryer-9k… ?

If so you would recommend? It's a new model so I can't see any reviews online. How much did you pay for it (if you don't mind saying)?

      • +1

yeah, that's the one I've got, managed to get it for just under $1k at the good guys. Highly recommend it, compared to the one I had previously it's slower to dry, but it gets the job done really well. No moisture or condensation in the room, massive capacity so I can dry a full wash load in one go

    Get extra $50 from government

I just checked that under VEEU program, for this particular dryer VIC govt is giving 1 VEEC certificate which is equal to $50 approx.

    VEECCalculator

    • Do I simpy create an account and upload the receipt to get $50? In other words, we don't need to seek approval or submit anything before purchasing the unit? Any guidance on the process would be apperciated. Thanks

      • Not really. You've to ask for an accredited VEEC certification company to generate a certificate for you..
For this dryer you'll get 1 certificate.
I did some research and it looks like only Homelab is providing it.

after seeing this deal i done some research and i got the hisense 9kg (heat pump) one from ebay for 1025 delivered, hisense one was just released 2022 model and looked like it had better features and a little bigger

    • Hi mate, considering this dryer too, have you got a link to the Hisense one?

  • Anyone got any feedback on performance of this?

    • I’ve been using this for a month now.
      Works well

As it reuses the heat, it’s energy efficient and a full load takes like 3 hours or so.

Also, I got $50 rebate from vic govt under VEEC program as this is an energy efficient dryer
