My go to are the shagga boots. For $10 pickup they are pretty decent and a pair have lasted me a couple years, if you have cold feet and don't like spending more money on real leather and sheep's wool these are for you.

…… the australian shepherd ones say real leather but are $65 ……same brand aldi had a while back ….understand some people don’t like to pay for real leather ones but working from home after 9 hours feet can get sweaty and they don’t dry quick enough for next day …..probably ok for when you get home ….
hope australian shepherd do the deals like last year for $39 …..

OP specifically said it is for ppl who DONT want to spend more on real leather

i know ….i’ve owned the synthetic ones and ended up binning them …..just pointing out a downside of the synthetics if people think use when working from home day after day ….

but understand some people $10 fits the budget …..just don’t assume you can wear all day working from home as they will be wet inside because they don’t dry out over night.

yeah sorry i replied to your comment when it said "are you sure these are real leather" but you obviously edited it after that so mine looks out of place a bit now.

I only buy synthetic ones since im poor, but i will say i purchased a pair of cheap synthetic ones from Big W or something a couple of years ago and for some reason they stunk really badly, i dont know what it was, none of the other ones i ever had were like that but these ones were. Other than that i think they are fine for ppl on the verge of beggary like myself.

@Iggemo: yeah ….when i had synthetics i had 2 pairs …so could let one pair dry between days …..not much heating in my place …. work from home 3 days a week so ugg boots go on the i the morning and don’t come off until bed time.

ugg boots and kmart or woolies track pants and hoodie ….the new office workwear

          • @Iggemo: Welcome to ozbargain my friend

        • A wet shagga! Now we talkin

        • Wearing thick socks helps a lot to reduce the wet for me.

  • I've seen people wearing these at coles & collingwood afl games - do you have to scrape them along the ground for any particular reason?

    • The scraping is probably to get mud off the bottom. With soft bases you can feel the dirt every time you step. Not really ideal for outdoor wear.
