      Not really. Zyron's is firstly Australian business and chargers are sourced from factories that produce for Baseus, Hyper Juice, Alogic, Zendure

          1st minipod: Cant insert usb-a. The internal positioning is off. I emailed support and got a replacement and it is working fine.

          2nd minipod ordered via amazon. I sent an email to your support site today. Hope to get a response.
          The usb-a port seems to be loose. You can feel the internal part moving a bit and makes a clicky sound

          Yes certainly. We are not an unreasonable brand. If you charger fails in the 13 month, if would be unfair and you can contact us and we'd surely look at the case.

            @ibelievesyd: I find the wording interesting based on what it implies. Typically a warranty would be seperate to ACL which doesn't specify a time frame.

            From Guidance on the consumer guarantee as to acceptable quality and ‘durability :

            The Australian Consumer Law (ACL) creates a basic set of guarantees (or rights) for consumers who acquire goods. One of these guarantees is that the goods will be of “acceptable quality”. This guarantee includes that goods will be durable as a reasonable consumer would regard as acceptable. A good purchased is expected to be durable enough to perform its intended function(s) for a reasonable amount of time.

            One usb-c port on my charger failed last month, 12 months after purchase but I have only contacted zyron this month. Video evidence of it failing has been sent to zyron. I've then been asked to make a payment in order for a new one to be sent out. Is this standard practice, considering you agreed above that your chargers would last longer than a year?

    I have a different model of this

    I'm finding that if I plug in two devices into two USB-C ports, it runs at 60 and 18W as advertised. However once you unplug one of the other USB-C's, the remaining item remains at 60W, and won't get faster until that unit is unplugged and re-plugged.

    Is this an issue across all of these units?

      They normall come out of the same factory as the contract manufacturer has a mainboard design and the resellers can either redesign the external or keep with the generic reference.

      Heymix keep the generic reference design just with their logo.

      Other like Baseus, Zyron change their external design a bit.

      Best way to check is Aliexpress to get a model number and then search on Google then you find the contract manufacturer.

      For example http://www.ugoodbuy.com/products OEM manufacturer. Look familiar right?

        The Australian Standards testing and certification would have to be done for each different design, about the only thing that can change is the logo.. I believe the certification only covers identical units manufactured by the same company, in this case: Shenzhen LVSUN Electronics Technology Co. Ltd…

      To be fair, I've bought plenty of things from Officeworks that have worked perfectly fine and I've never bothered to leave a positive review.

      Officeworks could have sold 5000 of those chargers nationwide; if there was a 1% failure rate that's 50 people who have been annoyed. Out of that 50, 3 could have been annoyed enough to go to their website to leave a negative review. That still leaves 4,950 customers who are happily using their chargers.
