Is the lower camera a wide angle by any chance?

It's there to see packages. Doesn't really need to be wide angle.
FYI if you already have a Homebase I was able to sell a second Homebase for $105 on ebay.

Another FYI - you can buy the addon version from amazon.com for $235 USD delivered or around $332 AUD.

Dual camera Wired version comes with Homebase now.
So it gets free local cloud storage that's good.
I recall the old single camera Wired version did not come with Homebase and could not even be connected to one.
