Nice, compact tuner that seems to have good reviews.
You can get decent ones from Aliexpress for AUD5-6, but AUD10 for a branded, well-reviewed and uniquely sized tuner seems like a good deal to me!

Probably mid-show if the other instruments are already playing and you're picking up all the stray vibrations. For what these cost and the basically zero space and weight they take up, they're an awesome tool to just have clipped on. Being able to tune up before plugging in is awesome.
do these work on the violin? my kids play the violin, and it might be a good backup tuner for when they lose or break their current ones!
I use the Boss App
I use that also after installing and stretching new strings but nothing beats the convenience of these vibration based units for everyday playing.
I do have a cheap behringer unit, plus my Boss MFX and Marshall code amp have tuners built in.

Had mine for a couple years, still working fine. Being able to change the display orientation is handy too.
One review mentions it not working right while on stage, but if you're at that level you'd probably want something better anyway.
