New low from what I can see on ozbargain. Discount applied at checkout. Shipping to Melbourne west is $12.50. 1% surcharge with select payment methods. Maybe good for those waiting for a deal on the 3060Ti.

And you get a free GPU support bracket https://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/gigabyte-aorus-graphi…
Finally actual sales. Love it.
Took two years for prices to stabilise I've had two years of awesome gaming fun with this card.
Did you? I only paid .5 more.
if you got your 3070 for $600 2 years ago good on you, but I doubt it. Not sure why negged, I'm only speaking facts xD
@LiMaaa: Just get a 3080 if you can get a tax writeoff :)
@JonnyTwoHand: I'm claiming on tax, and the 3080 is $500 more. It just doesn't feel worth when the 4000/7000s are so close. Better to upgrade in 18mo after the next gen supply has stabilised.
@incipient: Thought these cards are average for graphic design?
@Domicron: ATO doesn't know that. Also more than one way these things generate income.
@Jazza2400: So… Dodgy claim, in another word?
@Domicron: I…dont do graphic design? Where did that idea come from?
@Domicron: Oh, what would you suggest then for video editing?
@JonnyTwoHand: Don't know. But friends i know uses NVIDIA Quadro than gaming cards for rendering.
@Domicron: You do realise that a quadro card is multiple times more expensive in the same generation right? These are plenty for the average video editor.
Hahaha
Assuming the upcoming 4070 will be vastly more powerful than this card, yet only slightly more expensive, why should anyone bother buying the 3070 now?
Because it's possible to claim tax return in some situation. Also the release date of the 4070 could be September or even later. But if that's not the case, just hold several months and the new series will be released and the price for 30xx is definitely going to drop more.
Because some people need a graphics card now
Impatience or necessity? I’m thinking the former.
some people arent willing to take any risks or have lost patience cant blame them for that
AFAIK increasing pandemics have been warned about as a side effect of increasing human population, animal farming, and I think maybe climate change (might be thinking of mosquitoes carrying certain diseases moving to more regions).
Coronaviruses were warned about half a decade ago in a TED talk by Bill Gates, and he mentioned a few others which were seen as likely too, and I presume he was just sharing industry-standard knowledge. Though hopefully this time the world could act quicker to isolate and eliminate it, knowing the cost of the alternative is far higher.
Anyway, point being, pandemics don't seem to be a matter of expected frequency, but the increasingly right conditions. Our super connected global world and constantly growing population is perfect for them to spread unlike ever before too.
You should go tell this to all the people who suffered in the recent floods after being told the flooding in 2011 was a "once in a 100 year" event.
Because nobody can guarantee what the 4070 RRP, actually selling price and availability is.
Ohnz jesus christ it's gonna get scalped to the next dimension!
AMD has already taken advantage of the fact they know how much people are willing to pay with their refreshed 6x50XT lineup.
So it’s highly probable that either that will happen too with nvidia, or they launch with such an undercut they face supply issues again
@Yeahbudsimmons: bruh not one gamer is buying AMD cards anymore, reputation is terrible.. Only thing AMD doing right is their CPUs. That rocked intel abit but when it comes to GPU there's always something wrong with their cards unlike NVIDIA.
100% when NVIDIA releases next gen it will be OOS in minutes and get scalped beyond recovery point. PS5 consoles are only just recovering after how long? soon there will be PS6.
My AMD GPU experience has been terrible and i can't wait to snag a 3070 OC 500-600 maybe even a 3080 lets pray and just HODL!
@easylife: The 6950XT is the worlds fastest 1080p GPU…. no idea what your talking about
@vid_ghost: Do you have a AMD card or just talking because you are bored?
@easylife: Not one person buying AMD GPU's anymore?? I just bought a sapphire 6700xt nitro+ for $830. So that debunks your statement lol :-)
Power usage, availability and cost
The rumours are along with those is a massive increase in power draw. I'd need an entire new pc
I’ll get negged for this but don’t care. People said the exact same thing about people that bought 2000 series cards right before the 3000 dropped and we all saw what happened.
The new series will be extremely hard to acquire for the first 12 + months and hundreds of dollars above recommended retail prices. Courtesy of sculpers and miners, 2 despicable groups of people that deserve to be sent to gulags.
Waiting for 3080 sale!
The eagle has landed, I repeat, the eagle has landed!
This or the Ti version for $1,099?
This one
the ti version would probably only be worth it if it was roughly $50~ price difference
Gotcha okay, I might just get this one for my mini itx build
Back to release prices?
Below. Release was $860 for a brief moment
Thanks OP, just bought one. Been sitting on the fence for a while about what to upgrade my GTX 1080 to, and this was what pushed me over the edge!
Just bought one, just a question, will this work with Razer Core X External Graphics Card Enclosure with Thunderbolt 3 Connection for Windows 10? I bought the razer core from ozbargain last year when it was on special. I was waiting for the prices for graphics card to fall.
Can someone tag me if there is a 3070 ti for 600 delivered this EOY sale please. I would much appreciate it!
Thanks OP
For $18 more, I went for the vision oc with beefier cooler and much better aesthetics instead. https://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/gigabyte-geforce-rtx-…
