  I love turn based strategy in general.. have always been a bit put off of this because of the cutesy Mario graphics. Maybe I'll give it a try finally 🤔

    I like the Mario series but not a fan of rabbids so I put it off for a while too, but ended up being surprisingly fun.

  I have the base game but donkey Kong is also $22.49. would grabbed it is if it was cheaper

  I don't care for Rabbids but this is one of the best games on the Switch, it's a classic. Looking forward to the sequel.

  I started playing this and was at first disappointed because it lacks the typical Nintendo polish:
  - Loading screens
  - Upgrades being "5% better damage" and the like
  - Slightly confusing paths and menus (can't skip to a 'world overview' easily etc)

  Having said that, I really started to enjoy the game by the second world and indeed recommend it!
  Things it does exceptionally well:
  - Mashing up the Mario and Rabbids universes
  - Simplifying classic turn-based strategy while maintaining depth
  - Offering enough secrets/bonuses to keep me coming back!

  Definitely give it a go

  Yeah I was still undecided after playing it for a few battles. Really started getting into it towards the end of the first world when you can upgrade skills and do more combo type stuff with dash and team jump.
