Experience/Reviews of Android Auto Wireless Adapters for Cars

I was wondering if anyone had found a decent android auto wireless adapter for their car.
Ive been looking at amazon for one but there are so many and with such mixed reviews its hard to get some solid feedback on which one to buy especially as they range from $50 - $300.

The best one ive found is the motorola ma1 which has a tonne of youtube reviews and looks to work well, but its not sold in Australia.

  • AAWireless is the best one (the Motorola MA1 still has some random compatibility issues), it gets constant updates so compatibility is pretty good, something the Motorola MA1 doesn't. It's currently only available at Indiegogo for US$85, but they are opening a web storefront soon if you don't trust crowdfunding.

    • $199!! Happy to plug in lol

      • I've seen them For @ $145 on Amazon recently.

  • AAWireless.

although i have to fiddle with my phone to get it to connect about 50% of the time, my wife's newer Huawei connects to it no issues (have been looking to upgrade my phone now).

    • How do I know if my car has android auto supported USB?

Connect your AAWireless dongle to your car's Android Auto-enabled USB port, using the USB cable included in the box

      • It needs your vehicle to already have Android Auto. This just adds the "wireless" capability.
Surely you can identify if your vehicle has Android Auto.

  • I just got a Carsifi device around 2 weeks ago and it's been working well. I have a Samsung s22 + 2018 Audi if that info helps at all.

I got it from the official site and they drop shipped it from somewhere in China.

    • How long did it take Bro? The site says that there maybe stock available in Australia, Which I assume is the usual Aramex Warehouse method.

    • Also keen to know how long it took to arrive. :) Please share.
