40% off Guatemala Ayarza Single Origin 500g $14.99, 1kg $26.40 + $6.99 Delivery, Delayed Dispatch Available @ Lime Blue Coffee

AYARZASOPARTYON

Hey Oz Bargain Community,

Monday's a public holiday in VIC, so I thought today is the perfect time to launch a deal. I like to launch deals that end around public holidays because it makes me feel like I'm being productive on those days when businesses shut. Which does seem a bit strange to say, as I happily work through all public holidays regardless, yet somehow I feel more productive during public holidays if there's a deal running…go figure. Also if you go away for a long weekend it's always nice to receive a delivery of fresh coffee the week of your return :)

Here's the deal highlights:

We're offering you a 40% discount off our Guatemala Ayarza Single Origin, only $14.99 per 500g usually $24.99 per 500g, and $26.40 per 1kg usually $43.98 per 1kg, for orders placed until 13/6/2022. You can pick from the available green circle dispatch dates on the cart page https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/361387/96295/june_9_sc… There's two or more available scheduled dispatch dates per week until the end of July currently available to reserve. Dispatch can happen for you as near as Tomorrow (Friday) and as far as the last Friday in July. Once a given dispatch date is at full capacity the green circle will be removed and date will turn red, first in best dressed :)

Here's a little recap on my initial thoughts about this incredibly delicious Guatemala Ayarza Single Origin. "For this one we set the goal of finding a SO that was somewhere in between our beloved Brazil São Paulo Single and Peru Single Origins. This Guatemala Ayarza is beautifully sweet, with a soothing gentle kick to it (I know that's an oxymoran description, think of it like the motion of the swish and flick of the wand in that Harry Potter movie haha), chocolate on show, then praline pecan with a slightly fruity finish :)"

Some helpful info:

  • You're welcome to place multiple orders scheduled for dispatch at various dates (delayed dispatch) to make the most of this deal
  • One dispatch per order

  • Complimentary gift notes can be written in the "special instructions for seller" box on the cart page."
  • The discount price will show up after the "cart" stage of the ordering process AKA once you start entering in your delivery details

Does this work well with milk based coffees bud

Also no Tim tam not buying it 😁😁

    • +4

      Morning @Honkyb

It sure does, this one cuts through milk so well, and it's delicious as a black coffee too if you decide to take a walk on the wild side. I have a hunch you'll absolutely love it (not a biased comment at all haha)!

WOW you drive a hard bargain haha supply is a tad low on the individually wrapped Tim Tams we include with our order, but I'm happy to say we've secured enough supply of them for this deal, so yes you'll get the individually wrapped Tim Tam :)

I hope you have a terrific day!

      Best Wishes,

      Tom.

      • Sold me two kilo order getting done soon

        • Wonderful, thank you so much, your order really is appreciated!!!

Amazing, music to my ears, thank you so much for the orders and outstanding feedback, it really does mean so much!

haha hint received loud and clear :)

  • Im enjoying this batch, gone through 500g already!

    • Terrific, wrapped to know you're enjoying this fantastic SO and churning through it at lightning pace, thanks heaps for the feedback :) :) :)

  • OMG it's on sale again. I've still got a kilo from my last batch!
I'll order again. One of the nicest beans out there.
    Ordered another 2kg

    • WOOHOO that's wonderful to hear, so glad to know you're enjoying this delicious SO so much!!!

Thank you for that terrific vote of confidence and your fantastic orders, it truly does mean so much to the team :) :) :)

  • Just want to clarify your shipping methods. The first 2 options don't ship to WA/NT right? A little unclear on the text for those. I can still select those as options though. Do I need to select AusPost for WA orders?

Also I love everything about your customer service and the depth of info about all the coffee beans

    • Great clarification request!

Long story short when the $6.99 (1st option) flat rate shipping was created that didn't apply to WA/NT, however now it does, apologies this was not edited correctly, all sorted now. With regard to the second option $7.99 technically we can use Courier's Please for WA (they don't really do NT only Aust Post does), but it's not a good option for WA so we'd prefer not to for our customer's and fresh coffees sake. Australia Post is best for WA and due to the floods damaging the train lines (Interstate to WA goes via train not truck) Express Australia Post is your best bet as that mean your fresh coffee goes on a Plane.

WOW what a wonderful thing to say, thank you so much for that terrific compliment. I'm wrapped we're in your good books and we'll keep working hard to stay there. Big smile on this side of the screen :)

  • If I buy now, any chance it’ll ship today?

    • +1

I'd love to say yes, but today's dispatch is at full capacity. When I say full I really mean beyond full as we like to push the limits. At present there's still availability for dispatch tomorrow, we do have an Express shipping option and also a same day delivery as dispatch option for most of Victoria :)

  • Been wanting to try this.. The other ozbargain favourite seems to be airjo. Anyone tried both and what are your thoughts between the 2?

    • I've tried both and much prefer Lime Blue.

  • 1kg is showing as 29.99 in cart?

    • +1

      Hey @supercool

Appreciate the double check. I think you may have 2x500g selected. If you go to the product pages you'll see the packaging option to toggle between 1kg and 500g bags. 1x1kg is $26.40 :)

    What is the roast level?

    • Great question!

We roast Medium/Omni to suit both Espresso and Filter coffee methods :)

  • What is the roast level on scale of 1 to 10. 10 being super dark.

    • +1

Love the scale system of your question!

All our coffees are generally between a 4-6, I'd say our profile for this specific SO is 5.5-6. Hope this info is helpful :)

    • +1

As an FYI LBC calling it 5.5-6 is fairly accurate in comparison to what airjo consider 5-6.
This would be equivalent airjo 7-8.(Which is too high of a number for a medium roast.)
Great coffee which you will enjoy.

      • Thanks for that. I’m currently having hard time dialing in Airjo light roast of 5. Hopefully LBC will be easier. Ordered 1kg, looking forward to brewing!

  • generally speaking how much time do you have to use up the beans after the roasting date for optimal flavour? (assuming the beans are stored in an airtight container the whole time)

    • +4

Nice question, I'm glad you asked!

Generally speaking for storage at ambient temperature, within roughly a month of our roast date is a safe bet, optimal flavour within 3 weeks.

If you store your coffee in an airtight container at ambient temperature this may extend the freshness, depending on the specific container you are using and if it's also vacuum sealed.

If you store fresh coffee in a vacuum sealed airtight container inside your freezer then you'll extend the freshness potentially for months, of course this depends on the container and freezer e.g. if your freezer could take the coffee to -40°c then you'd virtually stop the aging process; domestic freezers don't usually go that cold so at home you'll likely be able to slow the aging process as opposed to virtually stopping it in its tracks.

To clarify, when you say "stored in an airtight container the whole time," if you're opening and shutting the container every time you need coffee it won't extend the freshness beyond the comments in my second paragraph unless it vacuum seals. If you're thinking of storing it in a container and not opening that container until you're ready to use it, then I'd say it's best to pre-portion into 3 week supply lots, then vacuum seal (if possible) and freeze.

I hope the above is more helpful that further confusing the situation :)

p.s. don't forget about our unique delayed scheduled dispatch system, you can make the most of this deal and get fresh coffee dispatched when you need it town the track within 48 business hours of roasting, so you don't need to worry about stockpiling/storing excess :)

      • Thank you so much for your detailed and very helpful answer! Looking forward to receiving my lime blue order this week :)

  • Thanks, will give it a try.

    • Fantastic, thank you so much for the order, it really does means so much and we won't take the opportunity for granted!

  • Excellent

    • :)

  • My Guatemala order has been in transit since May 25th…. Will need to wait a while longer before I order another…

      Evening :)

Email received and replied to, all sorted now, hopefully we're back in your good books and Aust Post doesn't loose the good stuff again (shock horror)!

  • Lovely coffee, ordered another 2kgs this morning. Really enjoyed the memories blend

    • +1

Wow, what a wonderful thing to say, thank you so much for another order and terrific compliment, it's truly appreciated :) :) :)

  • Hi, I bought a 1 KG bag. How strictly should I follow the dosage/brew time/out printed on the bag?

    • I'm wondering the same thing too!

    • Thank you for your order, it really does mean so much!

Nice question. It's a guide rather than a strict rule, strict rule aren't usually enjoyable and coffee should be enjoyed. The guides are there so you can get optional flavour and also to help speed up your dialling in time. We've found the best flavour via our guides, but at the end of the day what's most important is that you find the best flavour to suit you. Feel free to try our guide recipes and then experiment from there :)

  • Arrived quickly (to Vic Metro) a few days after roasting and I'm really enjoying these beans!

  • Still waiting on mine (to Sydney metro by Aus post parcel post).

Ordered on the 9th and I’ve run out of coffee in the mean time…

    • Morning Mith,

Thank you so much for your order, it's truly appreciated!

Could you please send a reply email to your order confirmation email, mentioning this comment so we can sort out your coffee situation ASAP?
