Gigabyte Radeon RX 6700 XT OC 12G Gaming Graphics Card $694 + Delivery Only @ JW Computers

130

Just popped up in PCPartpicker. I was wondering who had dropped it down to $694 and it was JW.

For the financially strapped members, they have Afterpay, Zip, Klarna and Humm.

Im currently tossing up whether to buy a 6600xt as a holding card until (hopefully) further price decreases later on in the year or just bite the bullet and get this to last me for another few years.

You can't go wrong with 6600xt for $400 and wait it out.

    • Thats what im thinking… Just nervous to pull the trigger.

      • What card do you have now?

        • +1

None, I have a build waiting for a card.

    • All the $400 XT models are crap. Need the $499 XFX/Powercolor to drop to sub $450.

The asrock/eagle will also sell for essentially $50 less when it comes time to sell it. Look no further than prices of Asus turbo 10 series cards if you want a good idea on what to expect with asrock/eagle/ventus.

this ASROCK for $699 delivered is a better deal, unless you really want Gigabyte. Credit to this deal

    • Why is that a better deal?

      • +2

The Phantom is a premium model in the Asrock range.

I agree. I posted it so that retailers might twig that if they want to sell their 6700xt's, a price point starting with a 6 is starting to become the norm.

      • If only that was the case with 3060ti too…

Mwave just dropped their MSI 6700xt to $699.

The 6700 is barely falling in price it should be around $530

https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/689004. Only $100 extra 3 months ago and a decent model

$659 at Shopping Express for the Asrock Radeon RX 6700 XT Challenger Pro OC.
One would think 6700xt should go under $600 soon

  • It's like $80 cheaper than 3 months ago. Many models in March for $679 and 3060ti was actually sub $700.

Retailers are dropping them $20 a week lol after raising them $400 overnight.

    • They might have purchased it for higher price as well.

      • ahhh jimmy and homer, my 2 fave hodlers…

you might end up paying $1500 for 4080 if keep hodling.

better off buying 2 of these with that kind of money…

        • If we dont buy and hodl, the prices will drop further and the next gen prices might also go lower. Why is it so hard for you to understand my friend! And I dont need a card right away.

          • @[Deactivated]: I understand, but there're 2 of yous, many fell for their temptations earlier…

            https://www.pcgamer.com/au/if-nvidias-next-gen-gpus-can-some…

            • @[Deactivated]: Cant help it, they didnt have good cards to stay on. And its not just 2 of us ;)

2X performance only holds for 4090 tho.

              • @[Deactivated]: the thing is there's simply no mainstream game requires 4090 at this stage.

even the revered cyberpunk can be humbled by 3070Ti on 2k. and 3080 on 4k.

                • @[Deactivated]: Its more like a 4K 144Hz kinda thing.
