Most other Cards seem to give you more points for only spending a couple of thousand dollars.

1% value for such a big spend isn't very inticing.
Given quite a few will charge transaction fees for paying with a CC (or merchant fees) which are greater than 1% bonus, it's pretty hard to justify. And American Express - well the merchant fees on those are higher again….
Also harder to justify is retailers who charge you merchant fees/transaction fees on CC but then are happy to pay the significantly higher fees that BNPL charge them😳
