About this item

Battle League has players teaming up in five-on-five matches to slug it out on the pitch.
Players can tackle, of course, and attack members of the opposing team with classic Mario weapons like green shells.
Try and unleash new super powerful shots called “hyper strikes.”
Players will now be able to collect equipment, which will not only change their character’s appearance, but also change their stats.
Popular characters from the Mario series, including Mario, Peach, and Yoshi will be returning.
The product is new and may not come sealed.

  • Does thus have network over internet play?

I'm so hyped for this game.

Played the trial demo and it looks promising.

    • +1

      Demo lagged too much

      • +1

        Really I had no issues.

      • +4

Was a mix for me, some games great, some not

    • +2

      I didn’t like the demo..

  • +3

I'm keen for this game, but I don't think I'd pay $58 for it.

    • Agree - it'll drop

Game looks like what Americans think 'Football' is

Looks like what Americans think "soccer" is

C'mon guys, as per Cyberpunk, the lesson in life is: don't buy pre order. Wait for reviews and price drops etc.

    • +3

Cyberpunk it's just one of many lessons. Unfortunately most people have a very short memory span. Hi I'm Tom !

      • I don't understand the "hype" and lack of patience, it's very un-Ozbargain. I usually buy games when they're in the bargain bucket because I always have an unfinished one in the works.

        • As with most things, the more mainstream this website has become the less you see actual "bargains".

    58 is the price drop…

    • +4

Don't know why you got negged!

$58 is around $20 off its rrp. And that to for a first party Nintendo game, they usually hover around $10 higher than this even a year or two after launch.

Don't expect it to get a regular cheaper price for a while. With the exception of flash sales, prime day, black Friday etc.

Also full disclaimer, I have no real knowledge of this other than my bargain hunting history for games so I could be completely wrong.

      • +3

thats what i mean… mario games dont go much cheaper when new… so its quite a decent price

Is this a port/update of the Wii game from (quite) a few years ago or a newer version?

    • +2

New version, 3rd entry in the series

      • +2

        Cool, thanks! :)

  • +2

I didn't like the demo, there's not much football involved in this game.
