Stardew Valley is such an excellent game! (ymmv, I know that some people just couldn't get into it). A week is definitely enough to get a good feel for most of the game, but there's a lot more content than can be managed in the free-play period.

Great game, also excellent fun in co-op and it can be played split-screen either sharing a farm and money, or splitting the farm and earning your own money separately. Either way, worth buying.
