$10 for referee and $10 for referrer, after referee makes $20 purchase within 14 days.
It does say
BYO Modem is ineligible for cashback
So there might be an additional cost for professional switchers
we’ll throw a pre-configured wifi modem in for an easy $165
so no $50 cashback but still get the $100 credit.
if doing this better off using a referral with the code
That's pretty BS. Definitely not worth it if you have to have their modem.
Mate better than more?
Only for new users?
Mate have been great for me
Although, I wish they had more incentives for current customers!
Personally I experienced a bunch of speed issues during peak times when I was with Mate, this was in Metro Melbourne.
They definitely do some dodgy sort of throttling. My FTP downloads would slow to a crawl but speedtests would always show advertised speeds.
Why is their website so against advertising upload speeds? For the HomeFast and HomeFast+ I can’t find upload speeds anywhere.
I’m presuming they are 20 & 40, but wouldn’t sign up to something without knowing that
Edit: also out the promo code in abut made no change to final cost (upfront)
it’s bill credit
MATE nbn speeds.
nbn 25/5.
nbn 50/20.
nbn Home Fast = 100/20.
nbn Home Fast+ = 100/40.
nbn Home Superfast = 250/25.
Speeds on offer elsewhere are;
nbn Home Ultrafast = 1000/50 (Exetel & Superloop limit new customers to 500/50).
nbn 12/1.
nbn 25/10.
nbn 250/100.
nbn 500/200.
nbn 1000/400.
I've switched from Aussie to mate and noticed about a 10% drop in speeds (only noticed because my router logs a daily speed test). Not sure why, same hardware but interested to know if anyone else seen this?
otherwise happy
Anyone able to tell me if I require a modem if I have google wifi??
FTTP, HFC, fixed wireless = nbn NTD + Google Wi-Fi.
FTTC = nbn NCD + Google Wi-Fi.
FTTN, FTTB = purchase your own VDSL2 modem + Google Wi-Fi.
Cheers thanks mate
does cashback include business plan/ or will they install on commercial area ?
disgusting misleading company. Atrocious customer servce. Worst company I've ever dealt with (Mate NBN)
Really awful customer service. Not worth trying despite any amount of promo codes. Their recent reviews on Product Review are mostly negative. Avoid
Very happy with mate. Been with them for almost a year and no issues!
