    The workshops are for KIDS

    Ageism.

  • Thanks finally booked one. Limited tickets left on 2nd week of event at Doncaster.

  • What kind of Lego do kids usually get to build and take home with them? Is it a small build or decent sized?

    • +1

only small. About a $5 set usually. The link above your comment is what they're building. It's got a cool-looking baby dino figure, though.

  • Nice, thanks OP

  • Awesome. Couple spots left here.
    Thankyou OP

  • Thank you. Highpoint (Vic) had some openings over the long weekend

is it strictly for 6+? our 3 (almost 4yo) loves Lego & Camp Cretaceous…book first ask later i guess

    • +3

From experience we managed to get away with our 4 year old, although she was and still is relatively bigger than her mates.

    • I'm in the exact same boat as you. Fortunately, the answer is no, it's not a strict age limit. I asked in person at the Chermside store, and they said that they don't care, as long as your child is capable with a little parental assistance.

      • thanks mate. Never been fast enough to get a slot for my now 7yo so i figured get a ticket for my 3yo as well!

    • They generally don't care how old the kids are, and you can help them or literally build it for them if need be.

      • thanks for your post Wombat, kids will be wrapped. Yeah the 3yo should be able to read instructions and build.

        • you're welcome

        • There is no enforced age limit. The first session our littlest attended at almost 3. As long as they enjoy the build and don't be a source of disturbance it would be fine.

  • 20 yo can or cannot?

    • Nah

      • Do they check id?

        • You wanna gate crash an event for kids?

          • @FabMan: It happens a lot, especially when there are Star Wars builds. But I'm pretty sure old mate is joking.

@wombat81: There used to be sessions for adults pre covid but apparently they haven't brought it back.

    Nothing in WA.

  • Thanks, got my boys in to one

  • 2 tickets, is that 2 children, or 1 adult and 1 child?

    • 2 children. Adults don't get a ticket but you need to be there with your kids.

      • Perfect thanks

  • I want to book for myself.
    I'm 32 :(

      You can't buy the set?

      • Free is always better 😅

Although, building it at a Lego store is probably more fun. 🤔

        • +1

I guess if you're into hanging out with a bunch of 8 year old kids.

      • Thanks bro.

  • Always get sold out not much point

    • Yeah, you need to get in early for the popular stores.

Would it be so hard for eventbrite to mark on the date selection page which sessions are sold out already, so you don't have to click every ticket link to search for a ticket?

    • That would require them to provide a basic level of service. They can't afford it, the service fee they take from every paid event booking surely isn't enough to develop their website. /s

    • its very hard and the reason why they are all sold out as well

  • Thanks OP.

Looks like its all booked out in Marion SA… joined the waitlist.

  • WA all booked out too
