Thanks for the recommendation. I've been hesitant for a while now (have been eyeing the Jabra Elite 7) but this deal persuaded me to bite the bullet with the Soundcore. Plus, if I really didn't like it, Amazon Returns makes it super easy :)
The elite 7 pro is $189 at JB Hifi using the code 92WICKEDWEDS
I just replaced my 85t with the elite 7 pro because the 85t was abysmal at taking calls with any kind of background noise.
Thoughts so far:
the elite 7 pro are circle tips instead of the 85ts oval shape and they go very deep into the ears but you get a better seal and better stability because of it, i can wear all day without issue.
The hear through sounds more natural than the 85t
Calls in the office have been great with no background noise being picked up, have not tested in windy conditions which is always going to be the weakest conditions for this type of ear bud.
Havent tested ANC on a plane which is apparently where the 85t was far better but given the better isolation/seal i think this may be overblown and happy to trade a little on ANC performance for class leading voice calls.
Way better than AirPods just have to play with the wing tips to fit your ear properly
I have them, bought them last time they were at $180 (mid May 2022).
I like them, however, if you get excessively sweaty, just dry them off the best you can, and let them dry. I had that temporarily mess with the touchpads.
My ear canals are different shapes, so I bought a set of SpinFit tips. The anker tip sizes are: 11 mm, 11.8 mm, 12.6 mm, 14.1 mm. I needed the 14mm for one ear, but 13mm for the other. I have no issues with the SpinFit tips holding on to the Soundcore, and the sound and noise cancelling is still really good.
Can anyone who has these comment on the transparency mode? Are they natural sounding or APP is still the best? The Beats Fit Pro was a good one but my pair has a hissing problem.
I do not really like Soundcore L3. It might be good but so many KOL recommend it.
Just received mine today, but when I try downloading the Soundcore App (iPhone) it says it is not available in my region or country. Anyone else had a similar issue?
I've also tried different icloud accounts and phones.
Do these go on special often? I'm looking to buy one these but full price everywhere. I'm in NZ at the moment as well and there are 0 local stockists unfortunately :(
Hmm… I'm not sure how often they go on sale, but in saying that - Amazon Prime Day is on 12-13 July. It'll probably be a safe bet that these earbuds will go on sale then.
Very happy with these buds. Been very solid. Constant firmware updates and the app is great.
