Which TV under $400 ?

Hiyas

I'm looking at getting a cheap tv for the spare room. It will only be used for TV viewing, not gaming etc, but it has to have a USB slot.

Budget is max $400.

Aldi has a better screen resolution, but JB has a built-in dvd player.

Which is better? Can you recommend a different tv?

try ur luck in COSTCO store, u will find a branded model with better features around this price

Out of those two I'd defiantly go the ALDI one. Better resolution, bigger screen, heaps better contrast ratio (3000:1 vs 1200:1, double the warranty & I've seen some Sonic screens before and they are pretty bad… oh and its $50 cheaper.

With EOFY sales looming it might pay you to be patient! Mind you, there's nothing stopping you going into your local JB any old time armed with $400 & that deal posting to talk a little turkey; especially given that it wasn't the first time that set was offered at that price! ;)

2 yr wty with the aldi one as well. saw one in store the other day .. looked to be good specs for a 40"fhd.
