Not designed for dashcams, may cause issues..
Endurance cards are better for Dash/Security camera because of the low R/W speed.
These wont cause issues, but they are not recommended.SanDisk High Endurance or Samsung Pro Endurance are best for dash and security.
EDIT
I'll leave the above, but did not see that this card says Endurance. The reason for my confusion was that the WHITE MicroSD's are for their general MicroSD cards (Evo Plus). The endurance cards are Black at the top. I actually cant click on the deal for Amazon it comes with a dead link for me, but be cautious. I am not saying its a fake card, but the image is deceiving.Thank you. So how can I tell which Samsung card endurance is it? Black stripe at the top or this all white?
The new 2022 pro endurance are white.
I did work in that dept, this year. Evo was white, Pro Plus (for photography etc) was dark blue, there was a green one for Amazon US and the Black was Endurance to ensure there was separation and not to confuse consumers. There was nothing on the map to show that was going to change.
@Icedog1981: That's very odd, their press release showed it with the new all white design. https://news.samsung.com/global/samsung-unveils-new-pro-endu…
@hornlessunicorn: I stand corrected good sir! I hadn't seen it. It's a move away and a strange decision IMO.
@Icedog1981: I agree, a colour coded system make much more sense.
I used Sandisk High Endurance for my BlackVue DR750X-2CH and the dashcam constantly restarted. Changed the card to Sandisk Max Endurance and the problem disappeared.
Same, but also on DR590 (1CH). (Yes, 2 different cards).
Haven’t had any issues with the Samsung Pro Endurance cards on a DR750X-2CH, the same DR590 or the Navman from this deal that I moved the card into.
The samsung pro endurance is rated for 140160 hours of video recording, compared to the sandisk high endurance which is rated for 20000 hours. (both for the 256gb version) That's 7 times higher endurance on the Samsung.
Anyone know why this should be better than tue samsung pro plus card (blue card) It's 256gb is $55 on amazon
ITs down the R/W speeds, but the Blue Pro Plus is designed for photograpy/SLR's etc.
Comes down to your usage reasons. Normal set and forget? = Evo Plus, Camera = Pro Plus and Security/always on recording = Pro Endurance
I recently bought a Sandisk High Endurance MicroSD 256GB for $50.4 from Amazon AU with one-day-delivery. Would that be a better deal?
