Hi guys,

FYI - Pyrex is also on a decent discount. Purchase off Big W on eBay if you have eBay Plus - free delivery and $5 off.
Yes and ebay plus 20% offf
how?
At 50% off, prices are reasonable. I guess the "made in france" sticker doubles the price compared to equivalent Chinese or Estonian products at Ikea etc.
Absolutely correct and you can't compare prices with other retailers…they name it slightly different by retailer(the same way HP does it with laptops etc)
Not sure whether they are any good or not
No definitely not good hahaha
I got mine from qff pts exchange… honestly I think they are quite good, obviously depends how you are taking care of it.
If you pretty much burned stuff for every meal… well nothing will last forever
sarcasm hahaha
Are they made in china or France?
Edit: I found that some are imprinted with made in France on the bottom as normal, some are unmarked and description does not specify.
Edit 2: pretty sneaky. Some are pictured with the "made in France" and also have it listed in the description. I have found one of the stainless steel non stick pans are in fact made in china, yet the listing does not mention a place of manufacture and the description has an alternate line about the "#1 cookware bla bla bla…"
TLDR: Unless they're advertising it's made in France, it's very likely made in china. Pretty gross hiding tactics.
any issues with using induction wok with normal gas hob? did some google, says generally yes, but some induction pans might have some kind of coating which may burn.
I like to use high heat when i cook so would that be an issue?
Totally okay to use any induction pan on gas hob. Slightly better in gas hob because as these pans age, the bottom starts to round and it won't balance on a flat induction surface.
Caution with your high heat if you get anything non-stick. A non-stock wok is next to useless. These cheap non-stick coatings will burn off very easily and it's recommended you always have water or cooking oil in the pan.
i do have a cast iron wok… but too much maintenance. Was originally looking for a non-stick pan, but figured if i get a non-stick wok i could use it as a pot too (which i don't have, cause single lyfe lmao)
Just when I needed it, thanks OP
