Its so large, bulky and strange shaped, whereas everything else these days is minimal, black, straight lines etc
Agree, it looks horrible IMO. I want to stand it upright but I don't have room.
I much prefer the design of the Series X, even though it's minimalistic.
And just so the neg patrol don't have a breakdown, I own both consoles.
Agree it's probably the most ugliest console I have, would rather prefer something like the Xbox X Box type, but this seems to run pretty quiet and alot cooler than the Xbox bit I have a 77C1 so look at that more than my console
I had to Google the cooler quieter comparisons after reading your comment and the general consensus is XBSX is marginally hotter but runs quieter.
Aye, I saw one IRL in one of the CEXs. Whoa, it's a huge boi. I mean, I've seen all the videos before, but seeing if in the flesh was different. I'm thinking, if and when I finally get one, I'll be standing it up BEHIND the tv.
If anyone really wants one as a genuine gamer… Just go to any JB Hi Fi and put your name down on their wait list. Mine took 6 weeks but it's a sure way to get one. Also putting your name down at multiple JB helps.

Might work for some, not for others. I went to JB and they said their list is full and wouldn't put me down. I even bought a TV from them right before.
Would definitely recommend this if you're in Perth. Was able to pick one up before it was my turn on the waiting list but received multiple calls from different JBs telling me I can pick one up.

I didn't see any stock alerts? I was randomly checking press start and it was a coincidence that was posted only a few minutes ago. It's a good deal if it didn't have the crap game in the bundle at RRP

For me it was FOMO. And I want the latest tech in my life for as long as possible, when the hype is still real. I preordered late in day 1 and it took like six months to get it.
