If you're after a physical copy of this game for the Switch, you won't find cheaper.

On sale for $34, combined with the Extra 10% off Online Shopping code, brings the cost down to $30.60 if you can click and collect.

Fair warning, this game has been significantly cheaper for a digital copy, and remains cheaper than this price on the Nintendo eShop.

The Voidheart Edition is also available on Gamepass, and was previously free via Playstation Plus.

  Why do people want a physical copy? Seems actively worse in terms of usefulness (having to switch) but some small resale value maybe?

    Well if you see the E shop situation for the WIi U and 3DS once it closes down you can't buy digital games anymore.

    So in this case if a similar situation happens to the Switch in the future it would be better to have a physical copy you can access at time if you feel like replaying the game again.

      You can’t buy them… but if you already own them, you can continue to play them, right?

        You can redownload them again and continue to play.

        But if you break your DS or forgot your account log in then you will have problems downloading them again.

        The original Wii and DSi Shops are completely shut down.
        If you don’t have your games downloaded then you’ve lost them forever.
        Wii U and 3DS eshops are closing sales in 2023 but will you’ll still be able to redownload for a while but will likely be completely shutdown at some stage too

    you can easily finish playing the game and resell hollow knight for more than this $30 pricetag
