Any official posts to prove this?
Can’t find anything on their site or social media to back this up.

Taken from Intranet. Copy / paste. Not on internet

      • Any screenshots?

        • We are a very demanding bunch. I didn't take a photo. It's hospital computer but I could try screenshotting it next time. Not sure where and how to upload

        • -1

Where do you want it uploaded?

On that logic, shouldn't it be for the patients who kept them employed….

Or what you are saying if its not for me then its no deal for anyone else.

Lets ban iPhone deals as its not for android users, Or Tesla floor mat bargains because they wont fit in a Camry

This is why we can’t have nice things.

Nsw health has partnered with them. Maybe department of education etc can do the same…

How exactly does that "partnership" work?
NSW health will be letting all of the museum workers go to the hospitals for free until the end of the year, and you propose that the museum staff would want to go sit in a classroom too?

        • +5

          not sure
          don't care

        • +1

Probably paid the museum maybe $100,000. The alternative is giving health care workers a pay raise or bonus which could cost more!

          • +1

@orangetrain: They won't of paid the museum. It's just an in kind arrangement done though the public relations departments. It's good PR and HR for both organisations.

    • LOL same shit complaints as all the previous freebies for healthcare workers.

Thanks to Qatar I’m on the freebie healthcare worker holiday.

    • These deals are very often negotiated with the organization (in this case NSW Health) and person offering. We often get stuff in my workplace (hospital) that is directly gifted from somewhere for employees. e.g. footy tickets, theme park tickets, ArtVo, etc. It's kind of up to the employer to reach out to the places. Many aged care providers are for profit so they should actually be doing these kind of rewards for their staff. Some of the non for profit ones do in fact get similar rewards gifted to them.

  • Didn’t realise that you had to pay to enter a museum,

    • Theres a museum of museums u dont need to pay

  • What a nice thing to do after freezing health worker pay!

been there for a few times now with free entry. exhibits has not change. just a great location museum charging overprice ticket targeted oversea no idea visitors

    • +1

They would only get a handful of visitors and the upkeep on those old boats will never be covered by ticket prices. The museum haemorrhages money.

It should just be free for everyone, they would probably make more money with steady number of visitors buying from the cafe and gift shop.

    It's $25 for a ticket. And $70 for family. Where's the $65 come from?

  • what about private hospital staff?
